I have to say… I’ve never seen a Windstone bank before. I’m not even sure I’ve seen anybody try to rip the dinos before.
He’s lovely! The colors work very well together.
Aww.. I just wanna hug her! 😀

Maybe your Muse is naturally white, DM 😀 No painting required.
I love him already 😀
I see. That’s really too bad. I hope other repainters (even potential lurker ones) see this and use the information wisely. If someone as talented as PurpleCat can’t use this style of painting, no one should be able to.
Except of course the factory people 😆
June 9, 2007 at 6:59 am in reply to: Since when did walking my dog become a life/death issue?? #585051OMG… somehow I missed all this before but it’s given me the strangest sense of combined anger and deja vu.
There’s a nutter on our block too (seems like they’re everywhere nowadays) that I’m pretty sure I’ve griped about before… I dunno. He’s never pulled a gun on anyone before, but he turned his dogs on my fifteen year old brother and his girlfriend last month. They went for a walk to the end of our (perfectly public) street and stood looking at the moon reflected on the pond like the teenage lovebirds they are… when this guy’s door flies open and they hear “Get the HELL away from my property!” then the dogs tear out and attack them.
My brother was of course trying to shield his girl (who was crying by this point) and got the sleeve of his coat torn for his efforts. They managed to run away, being chased by the dogs, and get to another neighbor’s house for help. Once the cops were summoned they LET THE GUY OFF. Because there was no proof that he had commanded the dogs to attack, and they did not “cause actual physical harm”, only tear his clothes and scare the living daylights out of both the kids.
I seriously think ths man is paying the cops off. He has been complained about numerous times and always our complaints are ignored, but let anyone come within six feet of his grass and the cops are there and on his side.
I really hope all this bull works out for you, Pam. Your guy sounds just as frustrating and a hundred times more dangerous. Pepper spray in case the dog does rush you sounds like a very good idea, if you’re even willing to go back there again. I just wonder if it will take a serious accident where someone gets hurt before they do something about that man. I sure hope not.
Oh, this is so sad! 🙁 PurpleCat, you are so very talented! Please don’t give up. Also, I’m a little curious…
Does this mean that the decree on repaints has officially been changed from “not encouraged” to “not allowed”?
Seems like this issue might be poised to open up a whole new can of worms…

That’s a good idea! It’d be cute as sin, too…
Wow. Seems like they are pretty popular. Makes me want to mosey back over to the mall and… you know… just see if they still have their cute little IVEP couple. Not like I’d buy them or anything… 8)
Yeesh, that’s scary! I’m glad you, your son, and your puppies are all alright.
I have a friend who drives like that guy… she ran a red in the center of my campus and went through the biggest cross-walk we have, then slammed on her horn and said that the “F-ing stupid” students need to stay on the sidewalks.
I no longer get in the car with her. Makes you wonder… where are the traffic cops when you need them?
Hmm… after careful consideration, I’d say… Calypso. It was the eyes and the carnival paint-job on her face that did it — so innocent, yet so mischievous 😆 She’s a real cutie!
Okay, that little guy needs to thank his lucky stars that Mom and all the others came back for him. 😯 I thought herd animals don’t usually care that much if one of their number gets picked off.
Hmm, maybe they agreed that since he was tough enough to get through the lions and the croc they need his toughness to get passed on to the next generation… Still, he’ll need some major therapy to get over a scare like that! 😆
Oh, I love her! She does remind me of the lilies in the garden me and my mother worked so hard on. You just give her a sound spank for troubling you and send her on over to me… 8) I am watching her closely on evilBay.
Aww… I think that’s the first peacock kinglet I’ve ever seen. I just love the expression on that little guy.
