Oh my gosh… in middle school our running track was next to a small stream that had a million geese in the summer and fall months. They would sit on the track and not move. And these geese knew that we middle schoolers were slower than they were, and that entitled them to chase us and bite our ankles.
That’s why we ran faster, to get away from the geese!I can still see this kid named Mike, red hair and freckles, shortest kid in the sixth grade, getting chased down the home stretch by a big Canadian honker. Screaming and flailing. It was the funniest thing ever, at the time. 🙄 Ah, memories.
I didn’t know there was really a hen that could lay different clored eggs. Huh. And I was an FFA member, too… *sigh* My Ag teacher would be so disappointed in me.
Those chickies are cute as they come! I really miss showing off baby animals at the spring ag festival with the rest of my kooky club.

That is very, very cool. I’d like to see it being worn with the rest of the costume. Or you could roll it up nice and sleep on it, too. Multipurpose tail, woot!

You’d really think it wouldn’t be a big deal to pack something the way the winner wants. As long as they’re paying for the shipping, why not just do as they ask and box each one seperately? It can’t be that much of a hassle… 😕

Hmm… I’ll be going to Colorado for the summer in a few weeks, and they have tons of antique malls and stuff I plan on searching through. Plus there are some stores that sell Windstone in a mall I know of that doesn’t get the business it used to, so I’ll be checking to see if they have any treasures stuck away in the back. You can bet I will look for a peacock OW for you!
I’ll third extra shipping if it comes to that. Even if the hollow core never works out (heaven forbid) then at least they could go on the direct sales page. It might be too expensive to ship to many retailers, but… I’m betting a few of the forum folks would be willing to search their wallets, purses, cupholders, couch cushions, etc. for the extra cost. Know I would 😀
