July 23, 2021 at 5:47 am in reply to: GB Standing Hippogriff Discussion and Show Off Thread #1644928Beautiful collection Mary! Wow!
I was able to trade for this beauty:
There are only a couple I would trade this for, but if you have Quagga #55 or Dapple #132 I’d love to have the chance to trade! I also have several other things up and would even look in my collection for something special to get one of those 🙂
Hannah, thanks and you’ve got yourself a gorgeous one!

July 19, 2021 at 1:05 pm in reply to: GB Standing Hippogriff Discussion and Show Off Thread #1644697Thanks, Nat. Keeping fingers crossed that you get one of those snow leopards. Setsunawolf’s is gorgeous, but there were a few others that stood out.

Ms. Melody must have almost gone blind painting all those tiny thin stripes! Really nice one!
that one took forever!
I bet when Melody went to sleep, everytime she opened her eyes she saw stripes! 😉
That wizard looks stunning in that color scheme.

Mine arrived a day early and he’s a beautiful dark giraffe. He’s lovely but not one of my top choices, so if he’s your fav, PM me pics of what you get. I like most of the quaggas, some of the okapi’s, some of the hybrids & some of the snow leopards. My top favs are 143, 145, 162 and 98 from the numbered list

July 9, 2021 at 4:18 pm in reply to: Standing Hippogriff Colt Grab Bag is in the store 7-9-21 #1644115I got the announcement at 5:43 p.m. and was finally able to snag one, but the website seems to be dying. Repeatedly getting error 504 timeouts on nearly everything including login, and paypal was hiccuping too. But, ecstatic that I was able to grab one and will be anxiously awaiting to see what I get.
July 9, 2021 at 12:39 pm in reply to: this is why I don’t use the blog. All pics posted are blurry #1644005Our first two tomatoes are just starting to turn red. We have horrible luck growing vegetables here! The wildlife usually gets it first. We did get some cherries this year!
I have the same problem with critter eating my veggies. I’ve tried all the “critter repellents” like fox urine & such, but a hungry rabbit ignores the scent. Tomatoes are the only thing the critters don’t seem to bother. I even had a chipmunk take a bite out of one of my jalapeno peppers. I guess he didn’t like it, as there was only one bite in the pepper, but I had to throw it out.
This year I tried raised garden beds for my non-tomatoes, and so far doing great. We had unusual cold weather & snow/ice late in Spring, so I got a late start planting. Plants are doing well but thus far only got one small ripe cherry tomato. Can’t do much with one.
