I used to like gnomes, but I’m super picky about them, which is why I don’t have any (interestingly enough, David the Gnome influenced my color preference, though I barely remember the show. Dumb Travelocity ruined that for me though). I’ve been considering the bigger gnome-be-gone for a while though. I’m just afraid it will wander off….
I really want this one too:

Ditto that, especially the “in one piece” bit (hence why most of my Windstones are 7000 miles away). And I’ve come to appreciate moving as a time to thin out all the crap I have that I really don’t need. Otherwise, I can’t say I particularly enjoy the experience… π
4 days flat for me… once I cross the Pacific, anyway (our flights normally go to Seattle) π
Ah, the Midwest. In case of tornado, let’s cram as many people as possible into the nastiest smelling area of the airport (instead of forgoing the giant wall of windows that look out at nothing but the ugly parking garage – oh wait, that might just be Omaha). Yeah, that sounds like a plan. π
I love that show, and that’s got to be the funniest ep I’ve seen. I love Richard; he makes me laugh.
I haven’t seen the movie yet (if I’m lucky, the base theater might show it sometime next month), but I’m looking forward to it. I saw the stage show and thought it was fun. I’m not sure what I think of the casting (I think most of them are a bit old- and look it), but I can’t wait to see how Colin Firth portrays Harry. π
Ew… that tattoo looks like a creepy, old lady. I love the idea of memorial tatts, but portraits so often look horrible (and teeth never look right). I hope the guy it’s on likes it….

True. It’s probably not the smartest to start with what I have either, but I have always liked physical challenges. Now I just hope I haven’t gotten over my head. (I’ll get a better feel tomorrow – yay, first day of practice!) If I had been smart about it, I would’ve started with a scooter. But that’s not really my style… and I can always borrow Hubby’s little 90cc to buzz around the area (literally… it sounds like a weedeater) if I feel like it.
Very nice. Good luck selling. I love the purple snail and the bronze shell, but, alas, have no money.

I feel for you! π I laid my Buell down the day I got and broke two footpegs (driver and passenger). You’ll do the same a few times, I guarantee. But you learn fast if you drive a lot.
Yikes! I hope I don’t do it that soon (or ever, really, but somehow I think that’s unlikely). But yes, it’s my first. Of course, I didn’t start with anything small or anything … noooo… I had to get a 600lb monster. The roads are slick here (crushed coral is like ice when wet, and unpredictable rainshowers happen all the time), so laying it down is very possible. I just hope it’s not in the middle of traffic (esp. oncoming traffic during a right turn )… or during the test, since that’d be an automatic Fail :?.

It’d be lovely if that were true, but when you have such difficulty keeping some of these jobs staffed, you get serious recruitment bonuses offered. Incentives like that will draw people in that couldn’t care less about the patients (not that they’re all like that). I used to meet a lot of new nursing students and would just cringe to think that they were going to be nurses one day. I’m thankful I don’t need medical care that often.

If the hospital Admins actually cared about their staff and their patients, instead of making sure they have the most money of the area hospitals, there’d be fewer shortages and more satisfied (and long-term) staff.
Oh, and maybe making the staff that’s on-hand actually work. Excessive smoking breaks and [often] worthless aides make it harder for nurses who actually want to be there to do their jobs efficiently. I’d get angry just hearing about my mom’s days at work… she has far more patience than I do. Cheers to the nurses who care and stick it out!!

Open the bag
divide by color
eat even numbers at a time according to color largest number first down to smallest number in the color code. I eat then even on the right and left side of my mouth so if I have 10 it has to be 5 on each side. If I have a odd number of a color I leave the single 1 and at the end I match them best I can to eat them at the same time down to 1 final M&M then break it in half and eat 1/2 on each side of my mouth. If I have an even number left then 1 each sideOMG you’re like me! I’m not alone in Crazy Land – YAY!
No, actually, I do that with all candy. It’s a compulsion I’ve had for 20 years π I’m quite sure I have mild OCD, when I step back and look at the things I do.I prefer peanut M&Ms, then almond, then plain. I can live without peanut butter, dark, or crispy ones.
Aww… cherry and mint ones? Cruddy overseas AAFES… I’ve never seen either of those kinds. I love buying limited edition candy to try the new flavors.

Ooh, I’ll have to watch some of those. The ones I’ve watched from your list, I’ve liked, so I’ll have to see if I agree with your other recommendations. π
Oh, and trying not to threadjack, really…

Maebnus, your fancy purple Harley, too, please! π
Ditto that request! Mirrako, I’d love to see your & your hubby’s bikes too! (I’ve got a brand-spankin’ new 2008 purple Sportster 883 Custom… And you’re a veteran compared to me… I’ve done nothing more than starting my monster! :D)And GB, I’ll try to get a pic of mine in the next few days… I would’ve today, but it was gray and threatening to rain when I went to check on it. π Now if only I could get a hold of someone who’s willing to teach me how to work the darn thing… I’d love some extra practice on the basics before I take my class in a week.
Good thing you don’t mind which one you get! 8) That makes it easy not to be disappointed.
Personally, on the excess gold… I think he looks dirty, on top of the yellow lighting. The places that mine had a dust glowed gold too, though faintly (wasn’t heavy dust). Hard to tell though.
I’d offer my pic, since it’s in bad yellow lighting w/ no flash, but he photographs jade (even with flash), even though he’s undeniably emerald in person. π
Oh, I really like a few of those myth bear ones. Though the dragon bear looks rather suspiciously like a Windstone Scratcher .
