I think they look quite nice that way too. But it’s just yellow lighting. They look very much like my own peacock pictures, taken in my old house with poor, yellow lighting… though they obviously have more lights than I did.
I’ve got a Canon EOS 40D, which is a damn good camera… (it’s just the photographer that needs some work :lol:). But, honestly, for that kind of money you could get one of the SKs on eBay. In the same range, the Nikon D80 is about the same (a few little differences), though only slightly cheaper. I’m guessing that’s not much help though, ne?
I’ve also got a Canon Powershot… I think the A550, but I don’t know where it is to verify. It’s decent, but all my Windstone pics taken with it are less than great. Trying to get good detailing was horrible, but again, that could be the idiot behind the camera. Stuff like trips to the zoo were very good though, so it depends on usage… and if you’re any good with cameras :lol:.
I’m sure that doesn’t help much… but I hope you find what you’re wanting.
I can’t say anything about SciFi/Fantasy cons, but if your area has any big Craft-type fairs, you might want to check there too. Omaha has two a year, and I went every time. There are several regular fantasy-themed sellers there (not enough though, IMO), and they seem to do well. I would’ve loved to see something like your work at the fair.

I don’t know if that’s still true. I bred one, and collected three. I can’t take anymore at this time. I’m trying to get the eggs hatched so that I can collect more. (I really want the spotted eggs)
It never seemed to be consistent even before all the changes. I’ve never been able to have more than 4 eggs, even if I bred one, though I’ve seen others with more than 4. And I could never pick up an egg if I had 4 hatchlings, even if one of those were bred. Only if I had a mix of eggs and hatchlings, then I could have 5 total if one was bred.
I’m not sure if I like a couple of the changes TJ made. Like eliminating the one-day wait to abandon an egg. That part’s fine, but because of that, he eliminated the one-day addition of time for the person who picks up the abandoned egg (since that was a result of the initial wait). Eventually, there will be a lot of eggs dying because people thought they would have an extra day to try to save them.

Okay, I’m thoroughly irritated at being sniped at the last second, so I have a couple things for my Wish List now. I’m looking for the Hatching T-Rex and Velociraptor, preferably in mint condition. Slight flaw OK, but can’t be really noticeable.

Well, I guess my luck was just delayed :lol:. I stole some eggs! Though I’m debating abandoning the two dragon eggs. I need hatchlings in those colors, but I could potentially breed those myself (if I’m patient), so I might give ’em up.

Yay! I got a chicken!Blah. I’m not having any luck getting new eggs. I even tried to breed all 4 of my females and only ended up with one egg. I’m gonna try to freeze it as a hatchling (if I remember in time).
Well, it sucks that the eggs that were stolen before are gone… but at least the site’s back.
I’m not totally thrilled with all the new sprites, though many are nice… and I was hoping to see a new Paper Dragon… but I LOVE the new two-headed dragon!
