Yes, I watched a Discovery program on it. In the program, they even mirrored some of his self portrait sketches and overlayed them on the Mona Lisa. I’m not convinced of the idea, but there were similarities that could possibly be more than coincidence.
That Dragon image by Benson is on my Magic The Gathering Shivan Dragon card. Was a strong card until all the expansions came out and made her a weakling 🙁 Not worth playing with her anymore.
As far as video game art, FFVII is just awesome. Even though the PS1 platform is outdated, the character designs, concept art, and movie scenes are breathtaking even still.
