I wonder if she will ever do the browns again? I missed out and they are not on the sales direct page. Just all the hatching ones are
The brown ones are still available though, even if they’re not on the direct sales page. I was just waiting for the green fledglings to get a brown at the same time and I emailed Karen and she’s sending me both!
Looking around I just noticed that both small spotted flap cats (bird and bat winged) were limited production… Any plans on making another batch any time soon?

If you liked Martin, I think you would love Steven Erikson’s The Malazan Book of the Fallen series, the rythm is a little bit like Martin’s series… He moves the focus around from one character to the next and is not afraid to have major characters die if it fits the story line. There have been 6 books published so far in the series.
Gardens of the Moon
Deadhouse Gates
Memories of Ice
House of Chains
Midnight Tides
The BonehuntersArlla wrote:the kirins, for some reason, vary A LOT! I’ve been looking at them for almost a year now on ebay…I’ve bought two males, both for around $90 + shipping. But I’ve seen them go for around $150, too.
I wanted that one thats up now…has the box and everthing…but now I think I’m pretty broke! 🙁 Good luck Ruffian!
Plus it’s in Canada as I’m sure you have noticed 😉 so no trouble with customs!!! I don’t even collect Ki-Rins but I considered bidding if only for that reason, but I changed my mind 😀
Yes, please don’t feel you have to solve this now, I really don’t care all that much about avatars! Do take a break and take care of that hand. Hands are so fragile with all those small bones and all the nerves and tendons, you don’t want to hurt it any more than it already has been!
Hmmm… I may be alone in this, but I’m not sure naming him is such a good idea? It sets him apart from all the other PYOs. If you don’t want to go with Large PYO Dragon in case you do a larger one later on, why don’t you just call him Medium PYO Dragon? That way “large” is still available for future use, or if you start really getting into the PYO line and do several more, you could always go with names that refer to position, for example: Lying Down PYO Dragon, Sitting PYO Dragon, Paw-Up PYO Dragon, Curled PYO Griffin, and so on.
I like the name you’ve chosen for all the production items, but somehow, I feel that naming the PYOs would, in a way, restrain the way we see them by giving them a pre-determined feel. Because, in my mind, when you name something you assign certain qualities and expectations to it.
Am I making any sense?
Average selling price for a Male Kirin in mint condition is $120.94 (4 sold on ebay since Oct. 1st, 2006)
I’ve mentionned to a few other people though and I’d like to repeat here: I feel that an average price based on 4 items is not as reliable as an average based on 10 or more items, which is why, when I give an average I always mention on how many sales it is based. Like Ski mentionned, sometimes they go way under or way over the average and the more sales there are, the more the average will reflect reality.
But with the data I have so far, $120.94 is the average selling price.
Good luck!
WolfenMachine wrote:Although, it depends on how well you photograph your items. I won a near mint male pegasus (he only has a few light scuffs on his knees-easily fixable) for $66 a good while back.
That’s very true! I’ve seen items advertised as mint condition, but with very bad or even no picture at all. They’re the ones that usually go for the lowest prices.
I wouldn’t let a bad picture stop me from bidding, but I would definitely ask the seller for a better one before I do.

Yippee! Another question for me!
Average selling price :
Hatching Emperor Dragon, Peacock, in mint condition: $128.72 (5 sold on ebay since Oct. 1st 2006)
Male Pegasus, White, in mint condition: $127.96 (9 sold on ebay since Oct. 1st 2006)
Do you like have an entire poll set up for this??Is the question for me or for tfsculptures?
Well, if you were asking me… It’s just that I keep a database of how much Windstones sell for on ebay. I actually started it as a way to figure out how much I should bid on items I wanted… and whenever I see a question like this one I figure, I have the info, why not share it? 😉
There have been 8 Large Bird Winged Flap Cats in black, advertised as mint condition, sold on ebay since Oct. 1st, 2006. Average selling price was $118.14.

it was slow, dumb, and mostly annoying, sad describes how anyone could ever think it was a good movie…
I really wanted to see if I could get my money back on that movie….
I have to agree, I thought it was the slowest, most boring movie I ever saw. I watched it until the end because I kept thinking that it would pick up… turns out it was boring to the end!
Just in case you don’t know who or what they are, here is the link:
Not quite up to date but almost!
Greater Basilisk wrote:$70 for such old pieces mint? The black golds are more than that. Wow.
I think it’s because they’re one of the oldest sculpts so there were a lot of those made before they were retired… It’s the same with the old green young dragon, I don’t have an average with me right now but they regularly sell under $70.00 and just recently there was one that sold for $45.00.
