Brown eyed griffs are up….

😆 Don’t worry, we’ll buy your share!
True, but it would have to be in a pet free/ child free household.
As a cat perch, of course. It just needs little carpeted platforms. 😆
Yes and you can list the dremol as a business expense:)

And thanks for the compliments guys…I work very hard on these Windstones and it’s really a new form of art for me…but then I try just about everything to see what works best as an artists making a living on what I do. Now I’m even getting into origami. I’m crazy.I saw that you carved a fetish, too. I collect those and I was really impressed with the way yours turned out. I figured they were very labor intensive and I enjoyed seeing your step by step layout.
They say the stand is available, too. That would last about 2 minutes in my house, with the cats…Hahaha!
I’m late, so it’s a very Merry Un-Birthday to You:)
Ski, you should make a little book of these for Melody. 😀
I have no idea what they are going for now. I would think the stores should be getting more stock and they should be going for regular retail? I’m not in the market for one, I was just nosing around eBay at the time.
Fake info? Bad credit card? They created a fake account for fun? Whatever the reason, it’s better now than after they were high bidder on a closed auction.
Did anyone check out the PS3s on eBay before Christmas? So many $5,000 and $10,000 BIN auctions were “won” by people with fake accounts. I would feel sorry for the sellers, except they were being so greedy. lol
Ski, yours was an Administrative (bid) Cancellation:
The cancellation of a bid by eBay due to administrative circumstances, such as when a bidder becomes unregistered. All of their bids were cancelled when they left/were booted off of eBay. They had bid on Water’s new pyo wolf, too.
Yes, he is beautiful!

Have you (or anyone) used pearlescent paints on your PYOs or do you stick to using the interference paints?
Thanks!
those were flat paints…..and then clearcoats on top…I have used them one metallic/pearlescent colors….the same effect is what usually happens…
with Cheryls the white on the wings was irridescent….and interference gold over top….the gold did show more on those…but not well at all in the photos…
Thank you too, frozen, I appreciate the info! It’s very helpful to look at an example of someone’s work and find out what they used to achieve their results. My first attempt is going to be something very simple. No mixing custom colors, etc. I don’t want to frustrate myself right off the bat. lol It’s nice that so many of you are willing to share your knowledge. 😀
Thanks you two. 😀 I am gearing up to buy supplies for my kids’ PYOs. I also ordered one for myself. The tips and hints are scattered all over the Forum, so your answers helped.
