Watergazer wrote:I love the black one with the open mouth. Did you cut the mold and then sculpt with epoxy putty for that?
Yup! That’s exactly how she did it…
Lemme see… I should have progress pics of one of them on this comp… ::scurries off…::
AH HA! here you can see where she made the cuts… and resculpted it with epoxy…
I hope that helps. π
Thanks guys! Ifeel better. ~LOL~
whippetluv wrote:I feel the same way! I just won this and I hope it was not a mistake. I have a lot of repair work to do!
AWWW! good price on that one..! I have him at home… LOVE that little bugger to death!
Speaking of repairs… you should see my Gryphon Candle lamp… ::cries:: π₯ My cats knocked him over last week… SHATTERED the new red votive holder… and chipped him beyond belief.
I need to take pics and post them to see if I can fix him… or anyone else thinks they can… π― Their color is SO hard to match…

::DIES Laughing! I love that movie so much!!! π I have all of the diecast (hotwheels) characters rimming my cubicle at work!
CherylKaufman wrote:Anyways, I digress- I get all of my models from Vicki Keeling, direct from artists, or go to this website http://www.modelhorsesalespages.com But be careful- you can spend a TON of money on there especially since many people accept time payments for model horses. Look under “Artist Resins”- sorry if that question was directed at LB.
YES… very very dangerous website. π― I owe a couple of people… need to pay them today. π―

I just won this lady… and now I’m kinda going… “What did I do!?”
I should be able to fix her up easily… and I don’t have any browns…
Something told me not to let her go under $50… π―
Did I just make a mistake?
Watergazer wrote:The donkeys were in a different photo in your photo stash, but they took up one or two shelves and they were all painted already as far as I could tell. Where did you get those?
AH! you mean these guys!
http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/556822566ciXguk
They all started out as the same model…
See the guy with the backpack? or heck… any of those in this pic…
That’s the original model… maybe by Breyer.
All of the rest are tweaked and moved wtih heat guns and Customized. π but ALL of those guys started out as the basic Breyer Brighty model…
And if you can’t tell… I have a small obsession with him. π
Watergazer wrote:You should sell some of your finished horses off…and I LOVE those donkey sculpts…where did you get those unpainted?
Oh I do sell my painted horses. π The guy posted above…. This guy..
Will be forsale… especially if I get the right offer on him. If not… he stays. π But I have another copy…
As far as the donkeys go… I have a lot… π which ones are refering to? are they in that pic I posted? or another one?
