Well GB… I only had blue eyes available. Both Ki-Rins I got for Xmas had blue eyes. So… though I too would have rather had brown eyes… or even red… 😛 Oh well. ^.^

Hum… maybe I’ll add interference blue to the green scales…. that might work. 😀 I think that’s really the only place for it…

At least she’s mine. ::hee hee:: I can live with the non-matching blue eyes. 😀

HA! the first finished PYO that I’m going to keep! (aside from the other grey wolf that isn’t finished yet. :lol:) I randomly finished this little beauty this weekend. ^.^ LMK what you think!

The “grey” you see is really silver… and the “orange” color is really gold mixed with burnt sienna…

It just occurred to me that I was going to put interference red on her belly scales.. and maybe a touch of interference green on her green scales… might do that later… any thoughts onw way or the other?

Nope… third actually…

I auctioned the Gryphon and Ki-Rin off (they are in my gallery). Teh Gryphon went all the way to Ski… 😀 He has a good home. ^.^ The Ki-Rin… I don’t think she went to anyone here…

I wonder if I can get my Green Ki-Rin idea knocked out tonight… or my black and white Gryphon. 😀

MAN! why do I always get excited about the NEXT project when I haven’t finished the current one yet! 😆

I’m glad to see that I’m not the ONLY one who wants to turn their cat into a Gryphon! 😆

The idea started with my cat Missy… I just think her two different Tabby colors will look smashing on a Gryphon! 😀

I’m just afraid that will take more sill than I have! 😯

She certainly thinks so! Where I like the brown one the best… she insists that her’s is the best of all three… 😆

So I’m curious… what concrete ideas to you guys have floating around in your brains… for future PYOs?

What ideas are just burning to be done!? 😀

Me… I have several… the main one being that I want to do portraits of my cats on the Gryphons…

I already have a green eyed Gryphon for Rocky (B&W)… and I’ll need a yellow eyed one for Wiggy (his sister, all black)…

And then an orange eyed one for Missy (aka Miss Chievious):

And if I get REALLY ambitous… I MIGHT do my parents’ Calico and Tabby…

Other than that I have an idea for a Green/Gold/Red Ki-Rin that I really want to do… but that’s all I know of right off the bat. 😀

So… what are your ideas? ❓

Well I’ve done this guy…

He belongs to a friend of mine… He has blue eyes.

And then there’s the lighter one… in the rear of this photo…

I think I’m going to give her to my boyfriend… she has one blue eye and one straw eye…

Then of course the brown one that ended on ebay last night… She had brown eyes.

I have one more brown eyed one… my mom got it for me for Xmas. So that one will have to stay. 😀

So I’ll have to get another one before I sell it here, or auction it on ebay. ^.^

Overall I’ve painted:

3 winged Wolves
1 Dragon
1 Gryphon
1 Ki-Rin

I have left to paint (given to me at Xmas):

2 Blue eyed Ki-Rins
1 Green eyed Gryphon
1 Brown eyed wolf

I need another dragon… another wolf… and a lot of Gryphons… because i plan to paint a gryphin in the colors and patterns of my cats. ::evil grins::

So far I’m gonna keep two.. the white one that isn’t finished yet (she’ll be my fiance’s. ^.^) and the one my mom got me for Xmas. ^.^

But I WILL get another one to paint to sell. ^.^

I’ll have to put in an order soon… for my PYO exchange… and a couple to sell. 😀 I wanna try a dragon in pastels. ^.^
