I’m putting my supply list together pretty much from Jennifer’s post on the brand names thread. 🙂 No water to thin with. 🙂
I have a phoenix and a small dragon. I can’t decide which to start with!
Any type of clear topcoat that works best?
I’ve done washes before, but not antiquing.
Also, have you ever used ink washes? I got some ink for a couple other projects and it worked well, but not sure how the gypsum would take it.
Sent one back 🙂
I don’t normally like the cat trios, but that one is adorable. 🙂
However, if I buy another Windstone this week, my husband may kick me out… so I think I’ll just have to admire the pictures. 🙂
September 9, 2011 at 5:43 pm in reply to: The "I missed them in the store but I want one!" thread! #855943I missed Blue Pearl curlies and Lavendar Pearl curlies. I could buy these immediately.
I’ll be getting my Ruby OW on Monday (yay!) so I’ll check him!
Silly question! (I’m just full of them!) Could you find a new new pewter company than can work with the old molds? I can’t imagine that the old pewter company (the one with horn rot), was the only pewter company to use that style of molds. Well, unless they patented that process.
Otherwise… if the horns are too small… just epoxy them in and paint over it! (Kidding, kdding!) 🙂
You know – grab bags kill me. I don’t collect unicorns, I bet there are only one or two I’d keep – but I’ll doubtlessly be buying one because I LOVE surprises.
Wish we had grab bag dragons!!!!
– Chocolate Mochi ice cream balls
<3Whoo! Mochi!
Not a big fan of this color on a flap cat… it looked kind of zombie-ish to me. I thought he should go with the zombie mermaid from a few weeks ago when I saw him. 🙂
LOVE the black/gold tiger curlie. But my Windstone budget is exhausted!
Maybe I can sell something to get more ebay money!
Holy cow is he pretty!
Someone is going to be very lucky! Maybe one will come up when I have money someday. 🙂
I got shipping quotes fast today. I didn’t actually place the order though – I want one of the new CP orientals, but my budget is busted. 🙂
Okay, so, I did some more testing and I was able to get to the shipping quote page.
However, there are some random characters being generated in the USPS shipping lines before the price.
I looked at the USPS site it looks different than when I visited to track a package a few days ago, so they may have done some updates over the weekend since they’d have an extra down day with the holiday for lower traffic.
My guess is something they updated is messing with their external shipping calculators and causing random havoc here as they take things up and down to fix them.
It’s just a theory, but I’ve seen similar things happen with external calls like that.
Tested and it didn’t work in IE8 or Firefox either. Definitely seems to be related to the shipping calculator and browser agnostic. 🙁
I tried it with an oriental. It would not load for me either.
Chrome/Win 7.
