About a year ago I posted a subject about my mother loosing her legs. A lot of you were very supportive and sent best wishes and prayers for her. Over this last year she did very well and was always very cheerful. About a month ago, she lost her battle and passed away. I miss her so much. She was my best friend and someone I could share my obsession of Windstones with. Even though she didn’t collect them, she did appreciate them and understood why I couldn’t get enough of them. I know I don’t don’t post on here often, but I do read what ya’ll say and I enjoy the forum. I just wanted you to know I’m glad we have a place like this we can talk to others who obsess like we do and who understand us. 😥
You do some pretty good work, cause even knowing where the damage is, I swear I can’t find any indication this was ever damaged, and I’m TRYING to find it! :shrug:
Melody, I know know you’re EXTREMELY busy, but this idea keeps poppin’ in my head, so I figure I just need to get it out there. What do you think about doing a commission piece for each member of the forum that wants one? Either having a select set to choose from or letting them choose and they can request a paint scheme or let you come up with it. It would be a one time only thing, and you could have a pre-set price depending on the piece. I know it’s asking a lot, but since the idea just won’t go away, I just had to throw it out there. I don’t really expect anything to come of it, but I have to act on it or it won’t go away. This way each member who wants one and is willing to pay and can’t afford those Ebay pieces can have a OOAK Pena’ that will never be done again for anybody and it would be the only one they get (they don’t get to enter again). Of course there would be some pieces that you wouldn’t do like the eggs unless you have some lying around and are willing to use them, but you get the idea. Whaddaya think? I know it’s a lot of work, but you could start with the person who’s been a member the longest and work your way up or something like that. I don’t know. Just tossing it out there. 😕
Along those lines, if anyone is willing to pick up a silver Puffin when they hit the store, I’d be grateful. I sometimes get them, but sometimes not.

If anyone decides they don’t want their silver bengel (either Puffin or Tiger), please let me know and I’d be willing to buy it. I missed out on the first batch. I’m also willing to wait for the next batch, so it’s not a big thing that I have one from the first batch produced. Thanks for thinking of me.

Thanks! However, I’m happy for the house, but mourning the loss of furture Windstones. Guess I’ll have to watch my spending and acutally budget for those now. 🙄
Wish I could afford him, but I just bought a house…so probably not too many Windstones in the near future, or the distant future for that matter. :spank:

I think they’re counting the horn as one damaged site, and the side of the crown as the other. I saw this too and thought about it, but was cautious d/t the damage and the low shipping. Just didn’t seem right to me. Plus, with the close ups of the body I thought they were trying to show me something I couldn’t see, so I’m not really sure.
