  • in reply to: Griffin family for artist's edition or test paint #787726

I am thinking about condensing the space given to my griffin families and thought if I could trade 4 statues for one statue (or some other combination) then I might be satisfied. Below are listed the families that I have and I can provide pictures if someone is interested. I am willing to miss match family members, as they are all just extended family anyway! I am looking for artist’s editions or test paints of any griffins.

    – Full family of pearl griffins: male, female, sitting, crouching
    – Full family of black griffins: male, female, sitting, crouching
    – Full family of tan griffins: male, female (non-stripy), sitting, crouching
    – Wolf griffins: sitting and crouching chicks, although I can get the male and female if someone would like them
    – Black Sunset griffins: sitting and crouching chicks, although I can get the male and female if someone would like them
    – Spotted griffins: female (1st group), crouching (2nd group)

    Thanks!

Due to my careless boyfriend, I now have a chipped griffin chick for sale. I am hoping he can go to someone who has some talent in fixing such matters. He has a fractured ear, and I do not have the missing piece. It seems to have disappeared. The other ear also has a crack, but no pieces have come off and it looks like it could be easily repaired. If anyone is interested, I have pictures that I can send you. I am asking for $20/obo plus shipping, but mainly I just want him to go to a good home. I will double box him with packing peanuts so he does not incur any further damage.[/img]

I am using the moving time to do some saving, so I can definitely get the stuff you post after moving!

These auctions are finishing up this afternoon and are currently selling for some great (low) prices!

This whole discussion is a little surreal to me. I was just discussing with my boyfriend last week about how supportive Windstone is of brick and mortar stores. Granted, we do not carry a ton of Windstone, and we do not sell much online, but as far as products we carry Windstone is one of the best companies at encouraging their customers to buy from stores, and not from them. In contrast, we carry some products that are sold for less online than our wholesale price! If every company was as good as Windstone, then business would be much better for small stores.

Yeah, a bidder! I also sent a PM, but your coiled boy is shipping out today. Good luck bidding!

I have listed a NIB Paper Tiger on Ebay, with a very reasonable starting price I must say! Check it out if you love the kitties:

So, let me get this straight…You are selling these guys to get started selling more Windstones?

Not exactly… we already carry a fair number if Windstones, but we need more for the holiday season. Because of wholesale costs for a store, if I sell one then I can afford to get in 2 more to sell for the store. I guess the only point is that the money will be going right back into Windstone!

in reply to: Retired Pieces for sale! #635853

Thanks for the welcome! I read the forums a lot but seldom post. I do have other pieces as I am a regular carrier of Windstone, these are just the only retired pieces. They are priced the same as the Windstone store, and I can also ship any of those that I have in. Let me know if you are interested in a particular piece or if you would like a list of what I have. Unfortunately our selection is not the best right now, which is why I am trying to sell some to get even more in!

Alright, time to sell some more retired pieces! I own a store and I have some pieces that have been retired. I am looking to sell them so I can use the money to buy even more Windstone to sell for Christmas! Below are the pieces that I have:

Peacock coiled dragon (male with the crystal globe) – $83.00 SOLD!
    Ruby fledgling dragon – $74.00
    Ruby young dragon – $84.00
    Sea jewel – $100

All are in mint condition and have their tags and original boxes. I will ship anywhere, and I will be sure to double box with peanuts (the packing kind, not the edible kind). I can tell you shipping costs based on your location if you PM me. Also PM me if you would like a picture of a piece. Feel free to check the validity of the store at http://www.gryphongamesandcomics.com.

Note of interest – last time I sold a couple of statues here it allowed me to get the tan family and black family of griffins, and now they keep an eye on us from a shelf in the store. Of course they are not for sale, but I have had multiple people try to buy them from me. No way! I send them here so hopefully they can all have griffin families!

in reply to: Black Griffin Chicks are in the store now! #627138

So I just got my pair in the mail, and I must admit that I like these two better than any of the other colors! I have the pearl and the tan, who are also darling, but for some reason the black is just the best!

in reply to: Question from my local retailers #626609

I am a retailer and I would love to see an email every now and then. The advantage of these is that you could include pictures or links, without the cost of printing pictures. You could also include info on what is up-and-coming, as well as new products that are out and ready to ship. I keep up with the forum to keep on eye on all of the griffins (which I collect for the store), but I know how helpful email is for all of the companies that I do not have a chance to keep an eye on. Just an idea!

Oh, and I love the convenience of ordering online for the limited edition stuff… and I wish there was a way to order online for the store and then we could use paypal to pay with credit cards. I know that is a whole different level of difficulty, but maybe something to keep in mind for the future!

in reply to: Brown Griffen Chicks in the Store! #625168

Just ordered myself a pair. I will have to post pictures of all my griffins as soon as I get them all out! Also, I have a tan male but I am keeping my eye out for a stripy male should anyone be looking to sell theirs. Other than him I am only lacking the Pearl female, then I will be all caught up (at least for the moment)!

in reply to: Gift Certificates #624419

I am not positive, but you might be able to get a gift card for Paypal, which would essentially be just as good. Does anybody know if these exist?
