everyone,
thanks for your suggestions. this weekend i will make a trip out to walmart/micheals/dollar stores and see what i can find.
i appreciate the help. i am crafty, not artistic. 😐
are the empea dragons as blue as they show up in pictures? it seems they are more purple in real life.
personally, i like the blue and green without purple.
is there anyway you can prove you put the money and the work into it and get recompensation for it? or sue for it? that is a pretty sh*tty deal.
what goes around comes around. when she is no longer able to make or get money, she will not have relatives to relie on.
hi, i am really considering doing a pyo myself, but i have no experience with it. can anyone recommend something small and inexpensive to get me used to painting these things?
(i have read through some of the posts here and i do realize you get what you pay for, but i am just trying to get used to the techniques of painting models)
thank you for any help given.
there is a piece i want on ebay. the seller has the original box and will ship the statue only in that box wrapped in brown paper–to keep the original box in good shape. should i just pass on this shipping method? i am kind of leary that the piece will arrive in one piece. the box might come unscuffed, but how well will the statue arrive?
i fear that if i ask for double boxing, i will not get it.
any comments or suggestions?
thank you. 🙂
do the empea curlies have purple in them? from the images, it does not look it. but does it have purple irl?

:b
ooh, i found a few i like. i will convert them to a cross stitch pattern. 😀
i want you to feel like you have made it! 😀but only to do for myself, after i finish my other xs projects….
you know, i was going to get the red/black/gold one for my boyfriend (ok, for me in the guise of giving it to my boyfriend.) the school where he works at has a mascot which is a kirin and those are his school’s colors.
the design on the side reminds me of fractals. they are a really nice detail. its gorgeous, i hope it finds a wonderful home.
i was in awe of it when i first saw it on ebay, then i looked for information about it here. (sorry, there are too many posts and forums here…i have to get through graduate school before i get kicked out! :o)
me wants! i am so tempted to bid.
*hangs head in shame* 😳
and if i do, you cannot tell my boyfriend!it looks like it is coming out of the sea. almost like a seanicorn.
oh this is wonderful! now i can wait on getting one until i advance to candidacy! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
it will be my reward.
by the way, what color are its eyes? it kind of looks like a really light teal or aquamarine.

No clue! But I don’t THINK it would be more than $25… don’t quote me on that or anything…just guessing… I’ve sent stuff to Germany and Australia before, and it wasn’t as much money as I thought it would be.
you can get a quote from usps at this web site:
http://ircalc.usps.gov/congradulations! it is a beautiful shade of pink!
have you thougth about selling items on cafe press? you could sell both! as posters or cards…
between the two, i like the horse better, but my sister would like the cow better. artistically, they are both beautiful.
