brown sounds better than blue. i know the blue would bring the eyes in more, but the brown would work better with the orange and yellow. of course, it all depends on the shade of brown… 😕

glad you are back. i feel bad about the breakage.
my parents had a 20+ pound black cat and it used to jump onto the buffet they had covered with antiques. one day it got scared and knocked over a really old (100+ years) and really heavy glass punch bowl. they never told my grandmother, whose it was orignally. 😥
i agree that you should only use this path during the day light hours. and take a cell phone and possibly a voice recording device. if you take a video camera, i think it will incite him more and just make the situation worse. (if your cell phone or camera records video, that is a different story if you can keep them inconspicuous.)
