Mine shows it departed Portland on Monday then there have been no updates since. I usually get anything from Windstone within 3-4 days. I’m beginning to think the post office has lost her!
I’ve noticed that packages seem to be especially inclined to go sightseeing in December, and also not to report their travels as well. I think it is because the PO hires a lot of temps in December, who don’t scan things when they should, and put the packages on wrong trucks. Everything sent to me has eventually gotten here, at least so far. One item I got this week reported showing up in the US last Saturday, but the notice said that it had arrived the Wednesday before. Then it headed west for a day or two, when I live directly south of its arrival port. Hmm. One package last December came to my city’s sorting center, then disappeared for a week, then showed up in Mobile, AL (10 hrs south of St. Louis) before turning around and returning to St. Louis.

Urk. Security is not my expertise, and that goes way beyond what I know about it. I’ve heard of infections in the BIOS – those wouldn’t be removed by reformatting the hard drive. I believe the BIOS resides on the motherboard. My best advice is to permanently power down everything but the new computer, and replace both the motherboard and hard drive on the new computer. AND, if any of these are Apple products, CHANGE YOUR APPLE PASSWORD. Hell, GET A NEW APPLE ACCOUNT AND NEVER SHARE YOUR PASSWORD. Apple devices (and maybe other brands) can be controlled remotely by anyone who knows your password, up to and including turning on location services and tracking your whereabouts. Ever since that became possible on smart phones, women’s shelters have been having problems with abusive men showing up because they tracked their victim that way. Another possible issue is if he is a government employee or has contacts in any goverment agency that does spying. They can remote control **anything** that is on the internet OR a phone network. They have demanded back doors be built into all devices, and all device manufacturers have complied.

I could swear I posted here last night. I clicked “submit”. But it is nowhere to be seen. Was I hallucinating, or did Shihiv decide my post didn’t meet standards?
Anyway, what I said was that I have never gotten a young uni before because I don’t like the sculpt – but when the first pics were posted and I saw the bronze-headed one in the second close-up pic WOW! My first young uni.
I want the one with the #1 and heart. I’d be happy with any of the starred ones. If I don’t get one of them, and cannot trade for one of them, mine will be for sale.

A week or so ago I was fiddling with ads when I figured out how it bugs out. (At least, how it bugs out in one specific way which may or may not be the same way it does for you.) I did tell Clay about it too so it’s not an unknown at this point
Clay has tried to fix it. It turns out that the code for the “Edit Ad” button is pretty deeply embedded. When he tried to remove it, it got removed from already created ads, too, and messed up a bunch of other things. He reverted the code to before the edit instead of trying to fix the fix.
I think he has worked on it more cautiously since then, because some things have changed in how the ads work since then.My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.

Wow – it’s the brightest tree I have seen in a long time! And I agree … it isn’t really almost Christmas. That’s just a nasty rumor.
I go for a walk around 7:45 am. When I left, it was half lit. I considered grabbing my camera and photographing right then. But I decided I didn’t want to make my walking companion wait. When we got back at 8:15, that is what it looked like. I had to grab the camera. When I left for work at 9:30, the other half was shaded.
