No I haven’t given up, I just need to get “in the zone”, and settle on what style to paint them. Like, for example ; different types of cats? or with colorful fantasy decorations?, or what?
These grab bag test cougars on ebay are exactly that; different designs I was trying, to see what was do-able in a reasonable amount of time. I thought these test paints took a little too long to be normal grab bags, but part of the problem was the weather. It was so hot I couldn’t get the paint to behave, and spent an inordinate amount of time fixing mistakes and trying to get the airbrushes to work.
Cool beans, glad you have not given up. Like I said, I’m loving the ones I am seeing on eBay. Sorry that it has been so hot and that the weather has been effecting your creative flow. Hopefully, inspiration will hit and in the meantime, I’ll keep saving my pennies…;)
Picture of the GB tanukis are up on Facebook if anyone would like post here. They look awesome!
There were about a dozen more of these guys that were waiting for me to touch up, so those will get put in the store soon.
I bet privievixen will grab one or two more 😀
Guess what I got in the mail today? Here are the newest members of my poad family! I was super lucky in getting 3 that I really like! I love purple/blue one I was eyeing in Melody’s photo at the bottom, the mint one is super cute and the rainbow one goes with one of my baby poads so they are fine to stay for now! But the orange eyed one on the right just doesn’t fit my family. He looks a bit like a baby poad I traded away before and this one also needs a new home. I would love to trade him for a PINK tadpoad as pink is my favourite colour! If not pink I will consider trading for a turquoise/teal one a bit darker than my mint one or another purple, blue or rainbow one.
Congrats Kim! It’s like charlie and the chocolate factory…..you got a golden ticket with that purple one. A lot of us were unwrapping our chocolate bars looking for it I’m sure lol.
WOW !!! 🙁
Guess I WONT be getting another hoppy tadpoad afterall….. all stock is currently in carts !!! Man, if I had known they were going THAT fast…. *durrrrr* …. oh well… 🙁
Wow! They went so fast! I was going to do a blind trade lol. Guess that’s not happening.
……and all gone. 🙁
I dumped over a full glass of water at a restaurant yesterday. All over the table and ran off the other end. Yuck
Oh no! One time a waiter dumped a tray of water glasses on my father and I at Olive Garden. We were soaked.
WOW !!! 🙁

This isn’t from the Windstone directly but I just wanted to say that there is a lucky llama on eBay right now. I don’t think I have ever seen one on eBay. Artist edition too. Those were really neat.
The cougar on eBay now…..by far my favorite! Wow, that is beyond beautiful!

Just curious, any update on the production koi rins? I was looking at the fantasy ones I have and just remembered those.
Egyptian God. Too bad it is not a cat…
Can I venture and say….grab bag Egyptian style designs 😉
Oh, goodness – love the pegasus, too!
I do the same thing Kim does and just search by seller to see the factory’s auctions. Although I also do a general Windstone search as well. I have noticed sometimes the list is longer than others – I will pay more attention to the search category now that I know the secret. 🙂
New pebble wolf on eBay. Now that’s a pebble wolf! Wow! Not sure what is more beautiful Anubis or the 4th of July Pegasus. Just gorgeous!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Windstone is closed today, Friday July 3rd. Orders will ship on Monday July 6th. Have a great weekend!
Happy 4th of July to everyone there as well!
It would be lovely to see another stage of Poad. Maybe a stage between the young and the adult (teen?) or an old poad!
ANOTHER poad™?? Jeese…well, they are my favorite grab bag items. Lots of room to paint stuff.
Old poads are called Oma poads.Oma poads? Are they German =D My family is from Germany and my Oma actually had the look of some of the more annoyed looking poads lol.
