Any update on my Peacock OW, Kyrin? 🙂
Your’s will be next in line once I have the ones mentioned above done. So he’s next.
I should be able to get started on him by next weekend.
I’m trying to do everyone in order.

Ohh ok. I read back a few pages that the OW was before Zym’s so I got a bit confused. Work however you want to though. 😉
Any update on my Peacock OW, Kyrin? 🙂
It amazes me that authorities think that those breeds are the only ones that can possibly cause trouble.
My aunt had a German Shepherd that she rescued and even though he would occaisionally growl at men who got too close to him, he never actually went for someone since he was still well trained. But on the other hand these breeds have perhaps done some damage. It’s to do with owner responsibility more than anything I think.
I’ve only ever had bad experiences with those small white “Scottie” dogs. One ran up to my father and lunged itself at his calf, taking a chunk out. Another did the same thing but to a friend’s dog (a German Shepherd ironically) and literally tore its stomach out from underneath, killing the poor dog. The Shep didn’t even fight back since it was so well trained. And just recently someone let their Scottie off the lead down my road and it started viciously chasing my cats! Boy, did I tell the owner off…
I’ve only named my PYOs since DragonsCavern gave me the idea after she painted them. 😀
Naomi (not actually named by me so I can’t take credit for that one; this was one of her early painted pieces that I couldn’t resist).
I don’t think I could remember names for the rest of my Windstones so they’re currently nameless but well loved nonetheless. And even if I do forget these, they’re written on the base so that’s nice and easy for me lol!
Mmm… plastic-tasting powdered milk… 😀
This reminds me of those “baby bottles” for dolls that were around in the 80s/early 90s that had some kind of white chemical in. Luckily manufacturers had some sense to super-glue the top of the bottle down but I wonder how many kids still managed to drink that stuff…

Same here…. *we need a ‘drooly’ emoticon* Congrats Darjeb! How fun you have 2 different pinks!

You called?
🙂
That pale pink is gorgeous though. Can’t wait for mine to get here. Loving Purplecat’s repaint too.

He’s been bought recently, he just needs to wing his way over here. 🙂 I don’t have a prototype OW in any colour yet so I’m looking forward to seeing the extra nicks from old battles on this one, as well as the slight colour difference. I’ll probably take a comparison pic for my own curiosity when he’s here.
Woohoo I got mine today! I remembered someone wanted pics and I checked back to the thread to see no one posted any. So here we go. ^_^
I would have taken a side-by-side comparison pic but my prototype is still in Canada right now. ^_^;
I’m not sure why I wanted both but I guess since this new one has more green (particularly that spring green) I thought I’d appreciate the difference.
To be more specific with a squeak, I’d love to see the large white Flap Cat produced in a greater number (as it’s on my wishlist lol!). 🙂 But perhaps with different colour wings instead of white so it can actually be made again? A pearlised pale blue would look great I think.
I would also squeak for a ginger cat.
Oddly enough my cats are neither of these colours lol!
I’d love to see some of the large short-haired flap cats in new colours. I only have the black one and it probably will always be my favourite but new colours would be great. 🙂
My SK’s here at last! ^_^! (And I know you’re all so sick of Peacock SKs by now!)
She’s my first one so I wasn’t prepared for how heavy she is. o.o! Getting her up on my chest of drawers was a challenge in itself.
The pic was taken last night so her colours look darker than normal in the pic, especially the blue (but I actually think it looks quite nice lol). Her purple’s so vibrant, it’s beautiful.

But the BVP Lap looks as though it has more green than the original BVP OW. That’s all I mean.
Hm… I wonder if they’re the same colouration as the prototypes or with more green like the BVP Lap..
Aww cute kitty! Are they going to Ebay eventually? 😉
Like everyone else here I’m glad that kid got what he deserved. Huge kudos to his parent. There’s just no need to be nasty to animals like that and just hearing what that kid did made my blood boil. I know if I saw anyone being nasty to my cats, they’d soon know they were in the wrong.
Darjeb reminded me of something that happened in a supermarket last year when I was on one of those “self-scan” checkouts. Two kids came up to me and started handling my shopping, passing the groceries to me and what-not. This really really annoyed me. I was shocked that the mother never called her boys over when she realised they weren’t with her (I later found out that she was on an opposite checkout).
I first politely told the boys “will you go away” and when they persisted, I promptly shouted out “Does anyone own these kids! They are not mine and they are bothering me!!”
The mother then showed herself and all she did was call the boys over (pretty much like what Darjeb described “now, stay here honey”), no word of an apology to me and no telling off for the kids. I didn’t leave without reminding her of a certain high-profile supermarket kidnapping and murder in the UK. I could have been anyone.Maybe we should start a “worst experiences with unruly kids” topic hehe. 🙂
