HOO-HAAA!! I am with you there! No nicotine, no drugs, no beer, only a tad bit of alcohol, never been drunk, never been to a party, and I am proud of it, because my sister did all of those that I have just mentioned, and her life has been so rough. 🙁 We are here, just not as prevalent as those who do party. 😛

I would love a Yulebuck, though. I just have last year’s Holiday critter. Let me know if there’s anything I can trade you, instead. Maybe a Sweetling around Valentine’s Day?
Sure! I would love to give you a Yulebuck. 🙂 I don’t need a Sweetling, but thank you anyway. 🙂 No need for anything in return, I would love to just give some holiday dragons to those here, because no one bites on this forum, and it seems that many people DO bite on the Dragcave forum! lol I know what it is like to want a dragon really bad, but it seems to never reach your fingers. (Holly) So, I wanted to give as well!!
October 21, 2010 at 8:21 pm in reply to: Gifting Holiday dragons and Holly Dragons from Dragcave #829792Hey, i thought this deserved a new topic, but I wanted to let everyone here know, who collects dragons from Dragcave (a virtual dragon pet site), that I will be able to breed all of my holiday dragons and I want to gift the eggs, but to the Windstone people first. 😛 I have all except for the Holly’s.
Now, in reference to the Holly’s, I was hoping that someone on this forum had one and would be willing to gift one to me? I understand the demand, and I hope no one is annoyed by this, but if you or someone you know (I sound like a medication commercial) would like to gift a Holly, please consider me. 😀 Anyway, just post here or PM me. 🙂DragonCat wrote:😮 😮 😮 *GASP!!* ONE OF THE NEW BREEDS IS A KITTY??!!! *superglues butt to chair and goes on a frantic site search*
What? Which breed? I am confused. 😛
I am so sorry that you lost another baby! It makes me so sad. 🙁 *hugs*

I feel the same as you, I was crushed when I missed them-so adorable!!
I am thinking about going to the doctor to have my thyroid checked, and to get her advice on a diet/exercise plan because with the way i eat, I should be losinf weight, but i am not! it is so frustrating. I stay away from alcohol, soda, fast food, and I like to usually only eat meats and veggies. I don’t eat noodles/rice too often, but my only downfall is that I eat a sweet about three times a week. Usually a cookie or ice cream, but I never bring the stuff in the house usually. I will drink water and tea, and I would exercise about three times a week 9I have been lazy the last three weeks) 🙁 I am frustrated.
Awesome job! I like the sheen. 🙂
:bye: I am here sometimes, still!!
Aw…see, this is why I need to stalk the forums more often-I never see these. is there any chance for more?
Congratulations DM!! I am sure you will love him!!

The Saola wasn’t actually discovered ‘by science’ until 1992, and nearly all the sightings of them have been by villagers. The regions they live in are very distant from human settlements or population so there is no knowing how many there are or why there are so few.
Here’s some info: http://www.ultimateungulate.com/Artiodactyla/Pseudoryx_nghetinhensis.htmlFascinatingly there have been other ungulates discovered in this region since 1992; all muntjac species I believe.

The woman in the video compared it to a unicorn. That’s where my comment was directed at.I just don’t like hearing “rare animal/thought to be extinct animal found and caught today! It later died” stories. I’ve seen my fair share of them, and it makes me slightly annoyed. I just don’t understand why humans think they have the right to capture these animals… especially since they normally die as a result. Why can’t people just be happy that HEY, it’s not extinct. We’ve learned something. But people just want to capture and “study” them or put them in zoos or whatever.
I just don’t understand 🙁In this case, it was villagers– not scientists or anyone that would necessarily study it– that captured it. Conservationists were trying to step in to get it released back to the wild but it died before they could.
I wasn’t there but it is entirely possible the villagers didn’t know what it was or that capturing it would cause it harm. Since this has happened, Lao authorities have urged villagers not to capture any Saola, and if they do, immediately release the animal.
WOW! thank you for the information! 🙂I joined the Y, and I am going to start Yoga here soon. I am trying to lose weight, and I can tell I have lost some in my arms and my wast, but I can’t see the results on the scale. *humph* I think this would be a good idea!
Yay! Welcome back Dracomancer!! 🙂
WOWIE! Thanks so much or posting pictures! I personally love him-he is a perfect mixture of all of those patters and colors! 8)
