You don’t have to wait until the deadline, y’know. You can give the seller a “reasonable” time to respond, like a week from the last contact, and if you don’t hear, or she sends another email that is less than wonderful,(like a full refund!!) you can file right away and get the process started quicker. It isn’t that hard and paypal is very helpful.
I don’t even like poads much, but that one is really a beauty!!! That’s the first one I’ve seen that I think is truly lovely!!! Especially with the light pink chest! Your little bird must be a real charmer!!! 🙂
There are time limits, but check with paypal to see when they apply. I don’t know if they start when you first got it, or after your last contact with her, but I wouldn’t wait too much longer. You can always file the dispute and then you have I think 45 days to escalate it to a claim, but I’m not absolutely sure of that, but it’s somewhere in that range. Paypal will take over from there, contact her, if she doesn’t respond, they will find in your favor, they will pay you up to $200 and they will go after her, in the meantime, unless she demands the kirin, you can keep him. But check with paypal to be sure of the time frames. I think you are wise not to pursue her anymore, filing a dispute/claim will resolve the matter. Be sure to tell paypal everything you have done to try to resolve this with the seller, and give them the whole history from the beginning. Keep in touch! :yes:

I have been referred often to DA (Dragons Anonymous) but I alway say it wouldn’t do any good, I don’t admit to a problem, I’m still in denial!!! 😀 😀
I’m betting on her having a new name and profile and ID. If it’s the one I’m guessing, it’s been done before by this seller. We’ll see.
with all the issues around casting and painting, I feel very lucky to have any of the Windstones’ at all!! It does make me curious about the rejected pieces, what were they like and what about them that didn’t pass muster? Too hard to cast? Too hard to paint? Too timeconsuming? I already appreciate the windstones so much, now I feel even more dazzled!! May they live and be loved forever!!! 😀 (and go forth and multiply!!!) 😀
If they could be limited in the store to one person, that would be great! Or posted on ebay the way you post the sunrise laps or the kitties, just one at a time. You would probably get a better return on them, enough to cover the ebay fees.
I am SO GLAD you are geting out of there and away from your 😈 BF!!! What would happen if you just got the car fixed without “permission” and didn’t tell him? Is it your car or his? If it’s yours, then he really doesn’t get to vote, does he? Why let him put you in any more danger than he already has? On another note, car auctions are really big here, especially now with the economy so bad, and the gas prices so high, people are either walking or biking, trading in their cars for better mileage and “green” cars, or giving up their cars and carpooling, riding buses, etc. So there are a lot more cars on the market because often people can’t afford to drive them! So you might want to look into that option. I bought my last 3 cars from private owners and got very good reliable cars. Craigslist is another option. You can take it to a mechanic and have it checked out before you buy it and take a mechanically minded friend with you. Anyway I’m so glad you are going to be safe!!!! 😀 I know it’s going to be hard to contain your excitement and your plans without his catching on, but I hope he will be as dense as he has been so far and won’t get alarmed until you are out of there!!! I thought the same thing about this situation being familiar!!! I don’t remember who the seller was, but if this is the same one, she has pulled this stunt before! If I were in this situation, I would go direstly to paypal, file the dispute, tell them what you want to do, refund it fully, negotiate for a partial refund and the right to keep the piece, or return it. Then if she doesn’t respond and PP rules in your favor, they will refund your money up to $200 and get it out of her if they can. Then you can keep the piece unless she wants a return, then you can negotiate for it. If you check with Kyrin, the residant Dragon Doctor, and find out how much it would cost to restore this poor baby and add shipping/insurance costs, and tell PP that’s what you want to do and how much it will cost and they will stand up for you. Paypal has always been good to me when I get into something like this with an unscrulpulous seller. I wouldn’t be too hard on ebay about this, they can’t investigate all the sellers that post stuff on ebay, but they can monitor the complaints that particular sellers get and take action against them, which is another good thing and posting negative feedback really alerts other buyers to this seller. Especially tel PP that the seller tried to change the selling price after the auction was over, essentially trying to extort more money!!! That’s illegal with ebay and PP policy and against the contract she agreed to when you bought the piece!!!! Very wrong!!! 👿 😈 🙄 ( I wonder if that seller is going under another name now!!! I’ll bet she doen’t know the long memories on this forum!!! 😡 )

Hmm, that’s true, I hadn’t thought about that! I just got another one from her saying she shipped the curl on Friday, I should have it by early next week. We’ll see then! Thanks for the congrats! I was concerned that I would miss the second batch too and be really out of luck because by then, 2huberts would have sold hers and I would have no choices. I hope it’s ok.
