No – he was fine, very well packaged. It was another oriental I got off ebay to complete the family that the seller wrapped in bubble wrap only. The poor dragon was clunking around in the box and was in multiple pieces.
I’m still waiting to hear about my oriental dragon claim. I was told the same thing about the claim going to St. Louis or somewhere and that it would take a month or more. The frustrating thing was when I went down they said I just needed a copy of the insurance receipt and the package and when I went back I also needed proof of value (my credit card receipt or a copy of the page off ebay). Which was a huge pain since I don’t always get lunch in order to run errands. Plus the PO I use is in Plainfield, NJ which, trust me, is not the safest place in the world. And then they took the dragon *sniff* but at least the person I was talking to the last time was really nice. She looked in the box and was horrified at the carnage – she loved the dragon and went on and on about what a shame it was the dragon was destroyed. So at least one person at that PO has taste! 😆
Good luck – I hope they find out what is wrong with Bubbas and he gets better *sends hugs*
There are new PYO wolves on Ebay!
If you have a used bookstore in your area that’s usually a good place to check.
I’m just wondering if there is some message in the way she capitilizes the letters. Maybe she’s sending code to friends? Makes it hard to read her stuff. Very annoying.
ruffian wrote:Umm well it says the auction is for a item that is the home of 4 dragon spirits, I dont think the dragons are included. If you look at the other auctions by this person they have a seashell that is the home of a mermaid??? BIN price of 70 bucks.
If that is the auction titled:
Especially Enchanting Mermaid/Water Dragon Spirit that’s a colloboration piece by Jim Warren and Wyland, the artist that does the whaling walls. But it doesn’t mention either artist or what edition it is (limited, giclee, etc). Depending on what exactly it is it is either worth a great deal more or a great deal less.December 3, 2006 at 4:54 am in reply to: Hybrid Emerald Peacock – can we see a current picture? #513694True – I hope they get coal in their stocking for Christmas!

I had a nice picture to post, but my camera was among the missing when we got our car ransacked.
(it was on one of the camera cards, all of which were in the case with the camera, of course.)Whine.
I can find another camera, and take another pic. I’ll post it in my gallery soon as I can.Slimy little car thieves. Hope you had prints or the pictures on the computer. It’s horrible to loose pictures since there is no getting the moment back. *sticks pins in a doll representing the thief/thieves*
I put this in the other thread as well but why not blue green? Sort of like the name black gold.
Sniped a guinea pig from me! 😀

*sends hugs and cocoa* Maybe you can check and see if there are other people in the same boat and have a “everybody bring a dish” dinner?
Since there is a black gold how about just blue green? I realize it’s not fancy but it is descriptive. *cringes while waiting for storm of protest*
I like the name tourmaline although after seeing the picture I now want a lifesaver.
Was any of the beer in the driver? Makes me think he may have been drinking. Sorry about your car – that is really upsetting. Not to mention time consuming trying to get the insurance to get it fixed. Just glad you weren’t in the car!
