So, now that you have the cement pouring process worked out, will you try this one again? I know I’d like to see them.
Happy New Year from the Pacific NW!

Same here. Sounds kind of boring, but it’s nice really.
Well, I feel kind of silly now. I don’t think I ever noticed how different they were before. These photos really show the difference. It now looks like I have 2 Jade pieces. My coiled dragon matches the scratcher, while my hatching empress matches the lap. The things you learn here. 😀
Ok, can you guys tell me if what I have here is an Emerald lap and Jade scratcher?
Thank you Melody. I appretiate you taking the time to answer our questions, especialy the ones you’ve gone over before. 🙂
Thanks Mimi. Sorry, didn’t mean to rehash old topics.
In my case, the SO would be my husband. 🙂
Hi Melody,
I was wondering if the paint you use on the rock dragons is different from what you use on the indoor pieces sense it has to hold up to sunlight and the elements? I’d love to put some of my dragons in my garden window, but I’m afraid the sunlight would fade them. I had most of my collection in the windows at the last place I lived for years, but there was a carport over one window and a deck over the other one, so they never had any direct sunlight and were fine. Do you feel that the indoor pieces can handle direct sunlight or not? I’ve always assumed not, but it would sure be nice if they could. Thanks!
I got cookies today, Nirvanacat. Most of them were in one piece too! They are so good! What a nice after Christmas treat. Thank you!! My SO said thank you too, after he was able to stop saying yummmm… 🙂 He’s highly suspicious of boxes in the mail. He’s sure it going to be another dragon. When he found out that this one contained cookies, he said it was about time the dragons sent cookies instead of more dragons. 😀

I have no intention of bidding on it. I only brought it up in the first place because of what they were trying to say it weighed (70lbs) and the shipping cost, which has gotten worse 😯 and is against ebay policy. I know places to go for fair prices and shipping. 🙂
I wasn’t complaining about the price, Vantid, just the shipping charges. I agree with you on the price.
skigod377 wrote:There was nothing wrong with the listing, was there? Maybe they are just revising the price??
My problem with the listing wasn’t the price so much as the fact that they said it weighed 70lbs and were charging $45 shipping. Now it’s 34lbs and $130.59 to ship here.! 😯 Guess I should have left well enough alone. 🙂
Well, the rock dragon is back and he seems to have lost weight. Only 34lbs now. Shipping cost is not disclosed though.
I never did get a reply back from them about the weight.
