Perfect!
I have two extra Young gb poads and a Young grab bag unicorn. All three have the same problem: After I painted them, I noticed that they had been under-poured, so the feet are a little bit smallish. This doesn’t really make that much of a difference in their looks, but it is enough that I didn’t want to sell them.
So the July raffle prize will be the winner’s choice from among these three GBs. I’ll post a pic of them tomorrow in the blog, if I remember.Eeeeeeeee poad! :>
Ethan wants to know if the poad can decide which egg it wants to hatch out of. When the egg is in two different places does the poad decide where it wants to hatch?
tdm 😀
They hatch in the place that is the warmest and softest… Think about that if you are going around with a poad egg in your mouth
Oh jeez! I can just picture Mr. Goofball hatching Podge that way. Did he?
tiny poad Tiny Poad TINY POAD TINY POAD!!!!!! I must have!!
Just can’t get enough of cyute widdle poad butts! Now I rEAAALLLLYY want a poad so I can add to this thread!
Daawwww poor kitty! Thank goodness you caught it early! It’s definitely not your fault about the food. The pet industry is constantly fooling their customers and pumping out all these cheap foods for the sake of money, when really they are note properly formulated to meet the dietary needs of each animal. (The primary culprit is corn, since until recently it has been very cheap to use). And different breeds might have different needs!
It’s the worst if you choose to have hamsters, mice, or rats. The dried corn in most of the food mixes they put out there tends to have bacteria in them that seriously promotes tumors (my sister has had multiple hamsters die of colon tumors as a result). The most ridiculous part is that they think the same food is balanced for all three! Mice and hamsters need more grains, but rats are omnivores! For my rattie boys I have to drive out to the one rodent adoption agency in the area to pick up Harland Teklan labs blocks, cause seriously those lab animals eat well!
Aside from my rodent rant, us pet owners have to get out there and encourage each other to do the research into what our pets really need, so that we aren’t fooled by the money focused pet food industry.
I hope everything goes well. I’m sure your kitty is gonna be just fine! A few adjustments, lots of love, and everything will be back on track.
All my love to you!
Yayz! Congrats.
I totally hear you about the heat. It’s been so hot and muggy, and I don’t even live in Texas. XP
Wow are those dragons gorgeous!!
I’m not gonna even HINT at which entry was mine. It would be far too embarrassing! 😛
Hmmm… Looks like there could end up being a tie! What will be the tie breaker?
There are a few in these entries that look like professional photographs! Very nice! I love the ones with the fine details and interesting angles. I am just wondering, are we supposed to vote based on the technique and quality of the photograph like a real photography contest or is this just more voting on ones we happen to like?
Either way I don’t stand much of a chance. XP
Oh well, at least the prize will definitely go to someone who deserves it.I have no idea whose is whose, so just a few shout-outs… (but please don’t reveal yourselves until after the contest is over!!)
The avocado face with the salad leaves and olive eyes cracked me up.
THANK YOU to whomever used the Gargoyles from the cartoon as their gargoyle image. That’s exactly what I would have done, too.
The dog with the dragon wings, classic.
The avocado with the floral carving, very well done!!
Both sand sculpture dragons, very nice work!
This gargoyle is gorgeous and I want to know where it is after the contest is over.
The towel on the head with a cat on top? Priceless.Oh wow! That is a handsome gargoyle!! So many creative uses of avacados!! Entry 8 has an avacado poad!
The pizzas look fantastic and I wish I liked to cook – it looks fun! But….I gotta ask: Whats with the red heads and bug eyes???!!!
For the sake of internet privacy of course. Not everyone wants their picture online for everyone to see.
I welcome you in native poadeze:
Pff pa phhpht poot!I can’t wait to see all teh pictures!! I tried to submit a couple with humour, so hopefully I’ll make at least one person laugh. I’m definitely NOT winning for photography technique. 😛
You’re great, LadyFirebird! I wish I had a farting Poad–I would bring her/him to work and put her/him under my boss’s desk, hah hah! 🙂
But on the topic of Poad eggs (sorta) I’ve been wondering. The Young Poads seem more colorful (as a whole) than the adults. So are baby Poads hatched really bright and flamboyant and get duller as they age, or are the Young Poads just going through a sort of dyed-hair/piercings/tattoos rebellious ‘teenage’ stage?
Yes, it seems as if the “young poad” is at the age where their coloring is at its peak of intensity. Maybe they are like balloons; you know how balloons are more intensely colored before they are blown up? The markings do grow and change as the poad matures, like the coat color of a foal. Baby poads have simpler, less developed markings than older ones. The very young ones just have soft pastel colors, like a scoop of rainbow sherbet. Sometimes with a dot or two like a ladybug to indicate where future markings and designs will develop.
Pass the skittles.Hehehe! So if you put together a bunch of very young poads it would look like a WHOLE LOTTA SKITTLES!
Oh yeah, that stuff is yummers!!
Can we get a chorus from the three winged sillies?
“YM!”
