What a face!! She’s adorable. Watch her, my female boxer became very protective of the family.

Yah, I have been really paying attention to see how her personality is. She does seem like she will be protective, so we are taking her out alot to socialize her w/ people and dogs and the world….Other stuff too like she isn’t allowed on the bed unless invited, she isn’t allowed on the couch unless invited, we eat first then the dogs and I serve her last.

She’s pretty! I never realized boxers came in white. I’m familiar with the fawn and brindle colored ones myself.

Yah, it’s not ‘breed standard’ and so frowned upon by breeders, but the whitey’s still appear somehow 😉 They tend to have alot of health problems like blindness and deafness, not to mention skin problems and allergies. Emma however just sufferes from selective hearing and skin allergens.

I’m learning so much about doggie allergies and what ‘puppy energy’ is and proper doggie nutrition and how use our gentle leader and all that stuff 🙂

We just love her so much alreeady, these last 2 weeks have flown by! We went for a wonderful walk today at our state park and it was beautiful. The foliage is perfect right now and the sun is shining…What a way to spend an afternoon, just me and my dog 😆

We FINALLY got a second doggie! While she’s not a mastiff, I love her just same! Her name is Emma and she an 11 month old white boxer. She is the sweetest thing! Great with the kids, gets our old dog to play, is scared of going outside alone and loves to torment the cats 🙄 We got her from a rescue, one of those you have to jump around three times on your left foot under a full moon on a Tuesday kind of places. I’m glad we jumped thru all thier hoops tho, cause Emma is totally worth it! We have had her a couple weeks and she is fitting right in!

The first night we brought her home:

in reply to: Anyone know anything about skunks? #735904

Thanks! Thats exactly what I’m hoping happens!! Don’t want my puppies getting stinky!

in reply to: We've got snow!!!!!!!!!!!!! #735826

I always welcome the snow at first, I love the change of seasons!! Then after xmas, I’m sick of it and start hating winter 😆 everything takes longer w/ boots and hats and gloves and mittens and wet socks and all that, but the kids love it and are looking forward to sliding!

Besides that they stink I mean. The one must hae last two mornings it has smelled like skunk very strongly in our back yard. At first I thought one must have gtten hit down in the road, but no bodies and it doesn’t smell in the front. Neither of the dogs have gotten sprayed and we haven’t seen any signs of skunky activity.

Do the skunks themselves stink or only when they spray? It’s possible that one sprayed out in the back woods and the scent only returned when it got damp and the wind calmed down last night, but I don’t know if it works that way.

I know there must be someone out there that can answer the questions I have, but first, let me tell you what I am trying to make.

I am a hair extension wearer. Without going into a whole 5 page extension education, basically, I wear wefted human hair attached with an extended wear double sided tape. Wefts are long pieces of hair that have been sewn together. During this sewing process the tops of the strand of hair get folded over, so you have a ‘beard’ coming from the weft. This is extremly itchy for me and I want to try to make a weft w/o the fold over. I need some type of adhesive/poly skin base that I can use to take the place of sewing. I need it to be skin safe, relativly flexible, dry clear, and I need tape to stick to. Plus, it has to hold up to water, shampoo, etc….I also want it to be reusable, so it has to sstand up to an orange oil based remover.

I thought about silicone, but tapes won’t stick to it. Everything else I can find is either cancer causing or just wrong. I know there must be products out there in the theaterical environment or something…Any thoughts? Thx!

in reply to: Whats up with this guy ???? #730278

Yes, it is def a fake. If you look at the wings, the area under the wing points isn’t correct. There should be a hole under the third ‘section’ and there is not….

well poo! 😥 Yup, notify the powers that be!!
