The post office definately scanned and weighted a male. At a normal 7.25lbs with packing should be about 8lbs, whereas the emp is 14lbs. You should have a pretty clear cut case to present to Paypal. The seller can’t keep claiming it was an emp when all the facts are against them.
You caught them alright, hook, line, & sinker. Now Paypal just needs to reel them in. 😆

Makes me wonder what the person who won the young ended up receiving in their box. There is an early version of this sculpture that was rougher in finish than the more polished later version. I can’t really tell for sure which this is from the photo, but my guess is this dragon is most likely one of the rough older dragons. The other possibility is that it was damaged and repaired.
The peacock coloring came in different kinds: “bright Peacock” ,”dark peacock” and some that are in between the two. The Fledgling, Royal hatchers and the Spectrals were painted almost entirely in “bright”, ( there may be a few stray dark ones out there) some other dragons, such as the Orientals, were first painted dark pea and then switched to the brighter pea. The family dragons ( Male , Mother , hatchling, and young dragon) were painted in exclusively dark peacock. We didn’t switch them to the bright pea because most people wanted all the family members to be a matching set.From what I’ve seen in the other threads around (the one asking about the 2 different browns) he’s a ‘frown eyed’ male. I’ll see if I can get better pics of him up. Thanks for letting me know about the color. I don’t think he’s been repaired but if someone with Kyrin’s talent got ahold of him I probably wouldn’t be able to tell. I got him off eBay for $66.45 including s/h and I was happy to get a good deal. I think the lady said she got him at an estate sale so I’m not too sure about his history. She did say that someone had tried to touch up his missing gold paint but they used a fushia like color. 😮 You can see it by his front feet.
We’ve gotten 4 storms so far dropping 4-10 inches each, but I find I like the ice better.

I was wondering did the seller have both an emperor and a male up on ebay at the same time? Is it possible they sent the wrong one to the wrong person? :scratch: I know the box should have been a dead give-away, but… 😕

Sitting, I winged it, hopefully he is pretty close. I am almost completely done with him, just need to seal him and he’ll be crossed off my list.
Need to pack him and all of Leigha’s dragons up so they can be ready for their return trip home.

If you’d like I can still take some photos for future reference…not that I’m hoping another one gets damaged. I should be visiting her sometime this week, weather permiting since we’re supposed to get 8 inches plus tonight. :shout:
Why did I just let Ed buy a new Tv? 🙄 If that lap had only been put up on ebay 3 days sooner I could have had her.:cry:
Thinks of selling Ed’s snowmobile for her. 👿 Na I wouldn’t, but man I would love to get her in that color, freaky eyes or not. Oh well, guess I’ll keep my eyes open for more and a huge windfall of cash 😀
