Very true Laurie. Whenever I start getting really sad I just tell myself I’m being selfish and it would be better for him for him to be with God.
And yes, it’s definitely going to be rough for my grandma. She’s back from the time when being a housewife really was a woman’s life, and she really lived up to it. She’s taken care of him forever. I don’t know what she’s gonna do with herself now. At least she’ll be able to start going to church again now.
Update: My mom just talked to her, and she says she feels guilty that she can do whatever she wants now since she doesn’t have to worry about him. She just keeps looking over to his chair, but he’s not there.
That’s a comforting thing to remember, TDM. Thank you for that.
And thank you for the advice Kiya. My grandparents also had a wonderful life together so I will definitely try to focus on that. It is still hard though. My own dad is a big jerk, and at this point I’d categorize us as estranged, but even when I was little I always sort of looked to my grandpa as my father figure, so losing him is really a double whammy 🙁
I can’t wait to see the rest of your collection, Pam. Dinosaurs are inarguably one of the coolest things ever! I’m glad to see someone other than myself thinks they’re awesome enough to collect!

Ok, please don’t think I’m awful for saying this, but I’m seriously just trying to make sure your dad is ok.
I know this is extremely paranoid sounding, but my mom watches these shows on TV all the time about these people who get caught scamming other people and get rich off of it.
One of these programs was on a pharmacist that was diluting down people’s prescriptions of chemo to around 1/3 of their proper dosage so he could make triple the profit off of one prescription.
The people getting their medicine from him (and their families) were commenting how strange it was that they weren’t experiencing any (or hardly any) of the unpleasant side effects from the chemo, but it turned out that that was because there weren’t even getting their prescribed dose. One lady even died from her cancer because her chemo didn’t work well enough to save her.
If your dad continues to not really experience anything I’d probably get the stuff tested for concentration.
Again, not trying to upset you, but I want your dad to be ok and I don’t want to see him get hurt because of a greedy pharmacist. (I’m probably totally paranoid, but I just thought I’d mention it because I don’t want anything else bad to happen in your life)

Could you put these into production (even if it's just in small numbers?) I had chickens as pets and I'd dearly love to have a little windstone chicky.
Thank you! I love this little chicken too, but I have no immediate plans to produce them as candle holders. I was thinking of carving off the candle thing and just make them as chicken sculptures, but of course I never got around to it. Probably never will.
I would prefer it as just a chicken sculpture too honestly (but I didn’t want to ask you to cut the candle holder off just because it would be that much harder). So if you want to lop that thing off and sell some baby chickies go for it! Personally, I’d have to buy a minimum of five (one bardrock, road island red, friar (the yellow ones), a black one with some green interference feathers, and brown).
(Oh, and speaking of windstone fowl, any chance there’s some more barn owls hiding in in storage somewhere like the momma and baby bears? Those are great too. Let me give you my monies @_@ )

P.S. Those dark spots under the toes and whatnot aren’t paint. They’re just shadow. In real life they’re the same green as the rest of the hands.
