Crashs Raptor! Crash was precisely the reason why I started drawing dinos and later dragons. I made the raptorhatchlet too, somewhere. I still own it as an original A3 ( I made mine using black pencil) ,with some original cat nibbles at the corner, somewhere but kept it offline cause officially its a copy of a original piece.

I had a pretty stressy bday as I made a party with my Mum (who turned 60 in december) and we made it as a surprise for her. But it was an awesome day 🙂

I get the whole sortiment of all possible spams from ebay as soon as I list something. SOme are as easy as ” can I have an interior picture of that mercedes” but many are very easy mistaken especially if the spammer takes more time and actually takes the right thing as the correct ebay section or of course the classical email from ebay itself. I always check where the log in link goes ( anything not starting with ebay or paypal etcetera yadda is out) and if I am still not sure I log in by going directly to ebay.com paypal.com etc.
fighting these spammails these days is like fighting the Hydra, chop one and to come. The good part so long thankgodness still is that there are not enough spamwriters to write the exact spam fitting your auction yet. I underline yet. Guess as I am speaking someone hacks a code for it…

What I liked best about it was the total anti mainstream(storywise and design/characterewise), so my opinion. of course a real nice more or less happyendpredictable mainstreamer is cool to if well rendered but I am happy that there can be something else too. Especially after Eragon kinda ruined my expectance of the future fantasy movies.
okay, it was partially pretty graphic and I was happy that my screen was small and dark *cough dvd cough*, but still I stay with my comment that it is not splatter but somewhere the really brutal truth that can be found even in fairy tales. With exception of the one early scene that is, looked away then. Definitly not suited for children (even if they see harder stuff on tv and real life (exceptions)), despite the wonderful images and the general idea of what can be a childs fantasy world.
and Pan is love! not the way I remembered him from the images (he was more sympa there) but still, lovely. and the chirping fairies 🙂 but thats enough, go watch it if you can (beware of graphicness) 🙂that actually sounds like some of my auctions, only this is an advanced use of ecstasy or whatever strong hallucigena.

I will do my best but then again, my experience is that if you can do not give them any points they can hang personal experienc on. First observe, then tell more about yourself.
The difference to your teacher, Spark, is that mine hung me up by the very fantasy. One teacher told me that the fact that I could draw horses without reference (not using the tracing table and prints from google) was very bad, down to the very scetchy lines you see in my artwork, which she called “the fantasy line”.
The other teacher, after I told him I do fantasy, said that the very rainbowy colors I used when I painted an Abalone Shell (google it) were fantasy.
The other teacher called my artworks scary stile and compared me to… Giger.
One teacher said: I saw fantasy once, i do not need to look at it a second time.
ANther teacher (not directly in contact with me) said that fantasy artists have a talent for exact rendering but absolutely no talent in art. It goes this far that my school killed all the subjects connected with:
perspektive
grayscale painting
color painting still life
anatomy nude paintingswe dont need that. As long as I am shitted enough into the brain I can easyly call a used gum art whenever I want to.
I did have other teachers who looked beyond the fact that I put a horn on a horse, but those were mostly 1/10 and I found keeping a secret better and easyer for me.
I got the approval to go the con though, and as it seems even without that I may have to tell more than “artshow and sales at Convention”.

as soon as major fuss with school is over.
I right now have a bigger problem. My greates fear has become true, it looks more or less as if I have to tell my teachers and my director what I am doing as a hobby and that I sell fantasy art because they dropped a week of silly school over my biggest Convention date(Eurofurence).
And dammit have I never been as afraid as I am now, in fact my fear of not being able to go to my fav con is topped by my even greater fear that I will be burned again for something that is not my fault but a mere fact of narrowmindedness and personal revenge.
at some point I even realized how sick all this hiding is that I am doing.I liked Saphira. that was about it. How was that with the horses, Basilisk? thought those helped too to, what, like make 1/3 of the one star?
