Thank you very much! :). I have another question, is there a time limit at all and what if the PYO you need to order happens to be out of stock? Sorry, me just being a bit of a worrier here… 😳
There is a time limit to have the piece painted during (usually around a month or so). As for the other question, most swap members are fine with more than one sculpt so if you can’t do one sculpt you can always try another. For instance in the last swap I wanted to do a small dragon for my partner but they were out of stock so I ended up doing a griffin instead.Thank you muchly for answering Pegasi :). That’s a relief to hear, thank you :).
They are all gorgeous! I love your subtle use of interference paint to highlight details, beautiful! 🙂
Congratulations Griffinlover! 🙂
Beautiful work, they are both very striking!
Happy Birthday! 🙂
Hello and welcome :).

I find out what I am painting soon… 😈 Or should I say, who I am painting for!Abatos: It works like the “Paperclip” trade worked. Each of us offers up what we can trade, and Laurie choses which one she considers to be “Trading up”. The man who originally came up with the idea went from a tiny red paperclip to a house in the end. It is much fun! You don’t have to trade Windstones, Laurie explains it best in the first couple of posts she made in this thread. 😉
Thank you very much for letting me know WindstoneCollector, I really appreciate it :D. That’s awesome! Okay, do I wait for something to come up or am I allowed to ask for what I’d like to trade for? I’d definitely be interested in trading something for any Windstone equines :).
Thank you again :).dragonmedley wrote:For the newbies out there, all the instructions and such will be posted in the sign-up thread. And if after that, you still have questions, then you can always contact me or Drag0nfeathers.

This sounds really cool! Could someone please let me know the rules and how to participate? I don’t have many Windstones but could offer a custom PYO or some really nice gemstones from my collection to trade. Thank you :).
Great news, thank you! I’m definitely looking forward to this :D.

Maplecarver wrote:There’s a lovely bookend of a wing. Simply a feathered birds wing but very pretty. It’s somewhere in Melody’s gallery. *wants* Also there’s speculation about a big hippogriff possibly being a PYO, as well as a hippocampus. (as far as I am aware of anyway)
I can’t seem to find it now, but I know there was mention of a PYO Flap Cat possibly in the works. Does anyone have any idea how that’s going? *hopes we’ll see some soon* squeek* squeek*
While searching through Melody’s gallery here I found one image of a new Flap Cat in progress in which she commented that it could be a possible PYO: http://www.windstoneeditions.com/galleries/displayimage.php?album=16&pos=60
I hope so too, a PYO Flap Cat would be wonderful! 🙂What a gorgeous lap dragon, congratulations! 🙂
