I like zebra finches. I used to have a big flock of them. That would make a nice griffin pattern!
Thanks Melody — I’m so flattered that you like my idea! π
I wasn’t sure at first if it had been done already. π³Blackdesertwind wrote:Raven is back from the vet.
Turns out he is and still is blocked. He needs to unblock by tomorrow or the vet will see him again.
He gave me two tubes of Microlax. I gave him one yesterday and he pooped a little but he’s backed up about a foot long from what we could see with the xray. It all needs to come out.
π I so glad it was notting more serious.
The vet didn’t want me to pay right away so I have no clue yet how much this time will cost. :scratch:I knew it! I’m so relieved to hear that it isn’t serious and absolutely treatable! What are the odds of my having had the same experience with Milo? Most of the cost for this procedure will likely be for the anesthesia, assuming it’s the same major clean out that my cat had. I have to warn you, it might get messy after the procedure, but Raven should feel immediate relief.
—> P.S. If anyone wants to know, Simba’s doing great. He actually likes his medication, though it may take at least three weeks for him to start gaining weight.
Blackdesertwind wrote:π I’m off to the vet with Raven. He was sick all night and the blood is darker.
I’m terrified!
The vet said he would try to take me in between clients since he’s all booked for the day.
I’ll let you know more later. You’re doing the right thing — hopefully the problem will be diagnosed quickly.
Congratulations Cheryl!WolfenMachine wrote:Courage the Cowardly Dog
My cousin introduced me to this and other Cartoon Network shows when I was young. (I used to watch Nickelodeon exclusively as a kid)
WolfenMachine wrote:The Adventures of Pete and Pete
This was so twisted — loved it!!
WolfenMachine wrote:The Wonder Years
Awww, I watched reruns of this briefly when I was about nine or so.

Whoa! No one ever mentions this! I forget which channel this was on, but it was part of some fantasy lineup, and I think after that came some storybook series. Oh! Hee hee, I just had a flashback — The Noozles. π
Jasmine wrote:I’m doing an Angel marathon now. On season 3…
My cousin was obsessed with Buffy for a while. It’s funny, I was never into vampires until I saw True Blood — now I’m hooked. I’ll be watching episodes 5 & 6 of the second season tonight.
So addictive!!
I’ve been thinking the same thing too about the griffins. For instance, I’d love to see their beaks painted in more colors. I wonder how a Zebra Finch griffin chick would look…
Oregon Trail = Hours of fun — NOT! XD XD

Awww, what kind of cat is she?
Tyrrlin wrote:How did that happen when the increments between the winning bid and the second highest were $10.00 apart *confused*
I think that bid increments are based on the amount that you put down, or something like that. For example, if you put down $1500, the bid increments are going to be different than if you put down $25. Which Lynx-point male was it? The last one was sold around $10 apart from what the previous bidders had. I don’t know what your max bid was, but if one person puts down $700, and another person puts down $800, the person who puts down $800 can win at $710. It all comes down to who puts down the most money and how much money it will take to exceed the highest bidder.
Dragon87 wrote:I’m so sorry to hear that Raven’s still sick. π I really do hope this clears up, I hate it when our babies are sick.
(hugs)
And Zephyr, when I started reading your post about Simba it reminded me of my parent’s Fluff, right when his kidneys were starting to fail. So I’m glad to hear it was something less serious then that. π
Yes, that’s why we were afraid. I know precisely what you’re describing because (as I stated in an earlier post) I lost my Siamese Marcello five years ago to kidney failure. π He was ancient though — almost twenty years old.Blackdesertwind wrote:I gave Raven some of the medi cal fiber can food. He was fine last night but this afternoon when I came back I notice that he through up in the livingroom (big amount), a small amount in the passageway and then a big amount again in front of his litter box. Not good! π π
My best guess is that he is impacted, and if that is the case there is little you can do other than get him to the vet’s office and have them clean him out. Now this is gross, but due to my gastrointestinal conditions I have actually been impacted myself, and in my experience, once a person (or cat) reaches that stage, no amount of fiber will likely help. At one point, I actually had to get myself a prescription for a laxative called Half-Go-Lightly, which was used to prep patients for colonoscopies before gastroenterologists began switching to MiraLAX. Because this cannot be administered to cats in the necessary quantities, I think what they do instead is give the cat an enema to soften the stool, and then suction it out manually while the cat’s under anesthesia or something. (I’ll have to ask my dad when he comes home for details as to what our vet told him) Other tests such as x-rays and blood work are done first of course to determine whether or not the symptoms are caused by constipation and to rule out other problems. I’m only guessing that Raven’s illness stems from extreme constipation based on what you told me. As you know, only a licensed veterinarian would be able to tell you upon examining him what condition/conditions he is suffering from. Being relatively new to this forum, I wasn’t aware that members had helped you out in the past. I still wish that I could do something to help.
π This stuff is outstanding — Keep it coming!! π

Lol I love robot chicken and furturama too π can’t wait for new futurerama to come on…. I’m also a big anime fan & love cartoon networks adult swim…..I’m watching family guy right now lol
Cartoon network is on my TV 24-7 π
Then you guys would probably love the comics I posted in my “Hilarious Webcomic” thread under “General Art Discussion.” They sort of evoke Adult Swim to some degree. 8)Poems wrote:::singing:: Lookit this stuff – isn’t it neat? Wouldn’t you think my collections complete? <—hmmmm………

I had some Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons on video cassette as a child believe it or not, and I used to to watch Road Runner cartoons on Saturday mornings. I’ll bet my mom would know all about the shows you mentioned… π -
