Dunno if this is a whine or a complaint. Ever get that moment where someone asks you to paint something for them and then in almost the same breath says something extremely unflattering about your work (and I don’t mean unflattering as in criticism, constructive or otherwise)? Ever had that person be your dad? -raises hand- Yup, that’s me.
I know exactly what you mean, my dad paid for my vet asst class and when I tell him he need to take the dogs to the vet he tells me that I don’t know what I’m talking about! Plus, other criticizing crap he likes to talk about, such as, my family lives with my parents, since we lost our house, he told us we could stay there as long as one of has a job. I have a job at Mobil and he still asks when my husband is going to get a job! 😐 |(
Hey melody! I think you should do which ever ones you’d like to do, as you said earlier it would be nice to do a least expensive piece. So I may also be afford it, because I work part time, support 5 other humans and 4 small fuzzy critters.
Has there been any word on the next grab bag being worked on?
Haven’t started yet. Can’t decide what.

Thanks, everyone. I’m in southern California and in the middle of unpacking all my stuff from a move. So happy I found my figurines today! I have a young dragon, dragon in egg, flapcat and a pegasus. They’ve gone through seven moves with me, and only a few small chips on one of them, which makes me really happy.

Oh, I love hummus!! I like them all, especially on bread in a veggie sandwich!! They are pretty tasty with pretzel sticks. I usually make mine by scratch but, when I don’t have the time, I’ll buy a couple tubs! :bigsmile:

The male dragon looks good in Oil Spot, but I’m not sure how I feel about the griffin. He looks a little too much like army camo to me. But I hope they both go somewhere nice!
That’s why I’m in love with that griffin, I could just see him hiding in the bushes waiting to pounce on something!!
I’m in really in love with that griffin!!! I wish I could afford him but other people in my family come before I do!

Awesome, I can’t believe I won Living Ember, so Fall/Halloweenie, I had to try to add him to my themed collection. Anyone notice the orange detailing between his individual scales?!
Congrats!! I noticed the details, I liked him too, but not the hefty price for him!!! I really like the little rock dragon, he’s freaking cute!!!
