Congrats and best wishes for a long happy life together!
Zelda, I’m so sorry to hear about what happened. I hope you can restore him.
I sent a Male Dragon off in the mail today. After changing boxes more than once to make sure I had enough packing around him, then changing the outside box for the same reasons, I ended up with an over-sized box to mail. I can’t even imagine trying to send an emperor through the mail.
Now I’m just hoping that the Male Dragon arrives safely so that the recipient isn’t disappointed when they open the box.
I got a photo in email too. I wasn’t sure if it was a photo she took, or if it was taken from a stock photo somewhere.
Is it an Ebay rule that if you post a photo that it has to be of the item you are selling unless you state otherwise? Maybe she didn’t post the photos because she doesn’t really have the items?
Wow! I didn’t know the Old Warriors were done in that color. I want one of those! Is that something like the Black Violet Old Warriors where they are only sold on Ebay?
They turned out great! I like seeing what others have done with the Muse. Mine arrives next week.
I’ve seen the Interference paints mentioned. I’ve read the tutorial and checked out the website. I’m still not quite sure what they are. Are they basically translucent paints that add a hint of color, but the base coat still shows through?
Those are neat! Being a bit of newbie here, it’s interesting to see what others do outside of their Windstone obsessions. 😀
Good Luck at the Con! Bring back pics. 😀
I was thinking dragons too at the beginning. Then I thought he was just doing an abstract painting. When I saw the big picture, I was just.. “Wow”.
Wow!
Grats Neko! I ordered my first Muse today too. Hopefully my first PYO dragon will arrive tomorrow.
Hopefully, there’ll be one left by the time I get home tonight. 🙂
My birthday is June 25 (Cancer), Year of the Monkey.
Very pretty dragon! Great colors. 🙂
Thanks for the info on DE. I’ll have to look into that. Here in Florida, flea control is a year round battle.
I love the pink color too, but if it were sitting on a store shelf, I don’t think to would be as eye-catching as the darker colors.
This brings up something I’ve been wondering about. Since there’s been like a 10-12 year gap in which I’ve been collecting Windstones, I’ve missed out on several colors that seem to have come and gone. I was wondering if there was a thread that explained the process of how a new color is picked, either for prototypes or production.
