Wow 😮 $29 shipping? International rates sure are crazy.

It’s because of the insurance. 🙁 To insure a package worth more than $100 I have to send it ‘expedited’ even though it is still small. If it was worth less than $100, I could ship the same package for under $10 as a ‘small packet’.

        Hi Melody!

There’s been some confusion, so I’d like to ask you directly. Will the signed limited production pieces in the shop restock or not? You did say somewhere that once the signed limited production pieces sold out there would be no more: but does that mean there will be no more in that mould and color, or no more with a signature? An example being the Gold Fledgling, which was signed. Does this mean we will see no more gold fledglings at all, or just no more with signatures? Another is the brown lap, will there be unsigned brown laps, or no more at all? (Both brown laps and gold fledgies are two I know were signed).

Thanks! I’m hoping they will restock without signatures. squeek*

I got no bids on my ebay auction. Good thing it was a free listing. 😛 But does anybody want my amethyst curlie? If you like purple… he is… very purple! He’ll be sent with his fuzzy friend! I’ll reduce the price to $99.99 (that means no customs or duty fees to USA or Canada!) and shipping of only $10 extra?

As the title says. I don’t think black papa looks very happy… yet we know they are hers, ’cause I have yet to find a brown female needing a home.

See guys? This is what happens when the store runs out of black chicks. 😉 Feel free to caption.

                Hmm!

Jennifer, the ‘new’ brown dragons are not listed on that retired page. Brown Lap, Brown Scratcher, Brown Spectral etc. Does that mean we could/will see more of those colors? But unsigned?

I’m looking to buy a Brown Lap Dragon. Needs to come with her original box and certificate (I think they came with a cert? If not, then don’t need it.)

Hmm. I’d have to see it to know if it will pique my interest or not, but I will squeek for one too.

Here are my squeeks.. thirteen of them, in a dish a little over an inch in diameter.

OOAK GOLD WINE MALE GRIFFIN: This is one of only 4 Male griffs by Olimpia that we have (and I think they are all OOAK–at least, they are all different). Also, it’s just this one and one other that have dichroic eyes. The other two have regular eyes. Of the two dichroic eyed griffins, this is IMO the prettier one. There is also one Female griff by Olimpia.
It doesn’t show in the pics, but the antiquing on top of this guy’s head looks awesome. And the red on his back half looks like cranberry juice! http://img.alibaba.com/photo/203623583/Ocean_Spray_Cranberry_Juice.jpg (Or, wine…)

RUSSET LILAC NETTUCE Poad™: I really like this particular Poad™. Her body color is much redder and darker than the others. The other Poad™s (The Wisterias, Lilac Laces, Green Gold Nettuces, etc) have a brighter orange-ish copper body color. This is the only Russet Lilac Lace we have until Mel paints more.

Could we please please please please please please see pictures of the other griffins? Before they all hit ebay, I mean. I know we’ll see pics of them then. 😀

I think you guys are being cruel. Maybe when Thunderwing picked up the curlie maybe she/he really wanted it. But, decided oh, I really, really want a purring cat. Which I know this person does. If I do decide to part with my cat I’ll probably offer it to Thunderwing first. Sometimes I buy something and then have a bout of buyers remorse. Doesn’t make me a bad person, does it? But, if I decided to sell that item, instead of deciding to call Windstone and cancel the order, making more work for whoever is in the office. I guess that would make me a bad person.

I honestly don’t see anything wrong with what Thunderwing is doing.

This pretty much hit the nail on the head. (Sorry, would have posted sooner, but I don’t read many threads…) This is the first curlie I’ve managed to snag, in any of the LP colors. And I got it, at first, because I do like it. But when they sold out so quickly, it occurred to me that there might be someone out there who wants it more… possibly enough to trade for my current grail: a purring cat. I would have leapt at the chance to have one of those when they hit ebay, but I wasn’t able to. I usually check auctions daily, but I was away when those were listed for whatever reason. So I missed out on those. So if nobody will trade… my amethyst will be put on ebay, and hopefully it will sell for enough for me to buy one of the purring cats listed out there now.

For those who missed out, I’ve decided I am willing to trade my curlie (once he gets here) for a purring cat. Grey tabby preferred. ^.^

Edit #2 – I got my purring cat on ebay. I got an orange tabby. ^.^ I will still trade for a grey tabby perhaps, and might consider other items.

Edit! Oops, for some reason I was thinking that the purring cats originally sold for the same price as these curlies… but they went for more, didn’t they… about $80. So I am editing my trade request – I will now offer my amethyst curlie plus $50 for a grey tabby purring cat. ~End Edit.

I got my order in for one of the first run of Amethyst Curled Dragons. But what I would rather have is one of the purring cats that I missed out on. Any color will do, but I’d really like a grey tabby one. Even trade, one for one? Pwease? (I don’t have it in hand yet, but will be able to ship once it arrives).
