This pretty much hit the nail on the head. (Sorry, would have posted sooner, but I don’t read many threads…) This is the first curlie I’ve managed to snag, in any of the LP colors. And I got it, at first, because I do like it. But when they sold out so quickly, it occurred to me that there might be someone out there who wants it more… possibly enough to trade for my current grail: a purring cat. I would have leapt at the chance to have one of those when they hit ebay, but I wasn’t able to. I usually check auctions daily, but I was away when those were listed for whatever reason. So I missed out on those. So if nobody will trade… my amethyst will be put on ebay, and hopefully it will sell for enough for me to buy one of the purring cats listed out there now.

Just trying to break the tension/make people smile or laugh for a minute, before feelings get hurt (or more hurt). This topic is like religion or politics or the plethora of other things we can’t all agree on….and it’s been discussed many times before. Both sides are self-assured in their reasoning/decisions and thus far neither has convinced the other to join the dark side. At least this thread hasn’t been locked or deleted. We’re making progress. 🙂

AMEN. Star you summed it up the best with this one. It seems to have worked very nicely, we just have to remember, back years ago, when some of us started there weren’t so MANY collectors. Now we have over 700 members (Some bots too maybe? but who cares about them) and there are many more out there that haven’t found this place, or just haunt it. 😉 (No, I too missed out on the Amethyst Curlies.)
It seems Windstone is getting closer to its restocking every day…Hopefully we can all be forgiving as things we want sell out and we have to wait again. Windstone tried its best to make us all happy, but with 50 items I don’t think they had a chance. But I give them an A+++++++ for their effort! Thanks to all of the Windstone crew and their time and patience they have with us! :yes:What is kinda cool to me is that the resellers (not that there is anything wrong with that) are not making the money they used to. Back in the day, the stuff immediately put on ebay after being sold out in the store was worth a pretty penny. The two amathyst curls on Ebay now are not selling and one is only $30 more than store price. Back in the day, that sucker would have been gone! Luckily, Windstone buyers are either getting smarter, or more patient… or they are broke! Ha! I personally didnt like seeing people pay double or more for a peice that would be back in stock one day for regular price. The retired stuff is a different story altogether.
