While I am not an advocated of lawyers, you should seek counsel. Literally your husband’s life could depend on knowing what rights you have and the quickest way to receive help. This is especially true when both the hospital and insurance are dragging their feet. To them it is only a financial issue. If the insurance doesn’t pay, there is no incentive for the hospital to help you. (It should be about saving people’s lives, but I’ve found the US health care system cares more about the bottom line.) If they can wait long enough to a point where you husband cannot get surgery due to strength/weight, etc. they will be able to write him off and have a “medical” excuse to do it.
Please seek legal advice. If you are truly doing everything you can, they will tell you and you can take some comfort in that. If not, they could be your best ally.

As everyone said, they are a rip off. I do find it interesting though that they say retail is $95 (but trying to sell for $30). It was like they knew what the real male dragon went for a while ago. I think they know they are rip offs.

Not exactly what happened to you, but similar.
My boyfriend got pulled into a phishing e-mail scam with PayPal and he unknowingly gave them all his log-in info. (It said PayPal was going to disable his account.) I only wish he had asked me before he did it. Oh well. He had to file a police report, etc.
On a separate occasion I unknowingly downloaded a trojan virus that rerouted my Explorer browser to fishing sites. The tech guy who helped clear it off said that is was set up to reroute to the phishing sites when you wanted to go to any financial site (i.e. PayPal, Banks, Credit Unions, etc.) My broswer’s URL screen showed the correct site (so I didn’t immediately know I was on a phisher site). I called up PayPal and they said that most scammers will change your e-mail and password so you never get an e-mail. After entering my password and e-mail several times and then finally getting routed to what knew to be a phisher page for Paypal (they wanted even my PIN numbers) I immediately called Paypal to lock-down the account.
I was curious, how did you find out that some hacked your account if they already changed everything?

True. I’m going to wait until October before putting up my stuff for sale. It’s really hard to gauge when things will sell well or not. I never thought I would see a peacock scratcher going for $250, but it happened not too long ago.

Yes the colors are wonderful. I like both the sea fire and sea jewel pieces. In time, hopefully they will be the rare and well sought after pieces. Yea…long shot I know…

The white scratcher doesn’t seem to do well on Ebay. Right now, not many people have money. I purchased mine during the holidays last year, and expected it to go to at least $250, but got it for $180 or so. (There were a lot of rare/retired pieces being offered at the time.)
Well congrats Keschete! I know it may seem weird, but it was probably just meant to be! 😀
PT – A lot of people may want the white scratcher, but maybe not all are willing to pay a higher price for it. Just a thought. 😕
