Yes, these were a batch of two, and there are two more with blue eyes. There is also a one of a kind one that looks kinda similar, but with more of a bronzey color. 🙂
That looks like a good group Ski, congrats! I didn’t realize that the fledge had purple/blue antique.
Most of the VF fledges I’ve seen have excessive blue antiquing. It’s discussed in a couple other threads.
Congrats, Ski. But whoa, that’s a LOT of that blue. I’m glad mine just has a couple little spots & none around the eyes (it looks like a bruise!).
I like one of the members comment about it. If you have a lot of blue it looks like it is going to charge up. 😀 I thought it was a good explination (sp?).

It’s not actually antiquing per se; It’s actually a pearlized powder Melody rubbed on! 🙂

It only makes sense that someone who comes from a family as mixed as mine as a mixed griffin family like this.
L-R: Skan, Tabitha (Tabby), Keenath, and Zhaneel. Of course the parents have to be Skan and Zhaneel. But the wolf colouration matches the general colours Zhaneel is described as, anyway. 😛Tabitha got her father’s recessive lutino gene. 😛

Hooray! He arrived safely. (Big sigh of relief there–I was really worried about Murphy’s Law.) He looks wonderful: I hadn’t seen one in person and so had no idea just how much blue and violet interference there was. My photography skills leave something to be desired 😕 but here are the picture links.

There are a couple more very small chips, and some places where the paint got rubbed. But I think I can fix them . . . once I get some practice in. 😉 Here are the photos of the two bigger chips.

A very nice person–I would think that anyone here who also bought from her should have a positive experience as well.
Now to find that thread on matching the Emperor horn color . . . .
