Ah yes I see him now. I had to get him out and turn him just right but the spots do line up. You can even make out the dark spot on his right front shoulder. Good eye!

We have known she made it for months but were not allowed to say anything. We are so very proud of her. I think she will go very far!

Here she is a local event last year.
I just received my baby. She is very nice but will be up for trades. She has a copper centerd silver leaf on a deep purble base. I have taken pics both inside and out to show off her wonderful colors.
I’ll trade for another GB baby, I prefer blue/ish colors. Send me a pic of what you have.
Hannah, you are welcome to any of these pics.
I snagged one! Woo Hoo!!!
Thre are just two up now. I reported them both.
February 6, 2013 at 5:24 pm in reply to: The new Supernatural Candycorn Grab Bag Baby Unicorns #892775Great! I was worried I had missed them. I’m sorry everyone is felling ill but I would be lying if I wasn’t a little happy as well. This delay means they might actually fall into my financial window.
I hope everyone feels better soon. Just not too soon. lol

I am not fond of this idea.
What you could possibly do is a variation on it. Put out the class photo and auction off a YOUNG unicorn to be done in the high bidders favorite pattern from the GB bunch. That way, they get a unique item, you get even more $ because it’s a YOUNG. And then they get the thrill of the hunt of trying to get their hands on the YOUNGs’ baby sister.
Something that I find works well and really matches the texture of the gypsum is a trick I learned restoring Breyer horses. It uses super glue and baking soda. Two things that you likely have laying around.
You dab the super glue on the spot and sprinkle on the baking soda. Just build it up until it fills the area. Dab, sprinkle, dab, sprinkle, repeat. The glue dries quick and the baking soda helps give substance to the repair. Don’t worry if it overflows the area or makes a big glob. Once the spot has been filled you shape the glue/soda glob with sandpaper until it meets with your approval. Sometimes you will uncover a hole in the mixture as you shape/sand. Just re-apply the glue/soda and continue on.
You will find the glue/soda really adhears to the base material. Much better than epoxy and it is easier to find.
When you get the glue on yourself, and you will ;), it can be cleaned up with finger nail polish remover.
Once you get the shape back then touch-up and you are done.
This is a small flapcat I repaired using this method. Half an ear, the front paws and an edge of the wing were missing.
December 10, 2012 at 5:33 am in reply to: WINTER/HOLIDAY 2012 GIFT SWAP — Everything Has Arrived! DONE! 😀 #889776I received my gift from Leigha yesterday. I waited until today to open it. I think that shows remarkable self restraint on my part.
The wonderous contents….
There was a lovely calendar with lots of different Windstone Birdwing Flapcats. (One of my favorite sculpts besides the dragons). A flap cat ornament with both open and closed eyes, some play toys for my minions er… I mean my cats, and some yummy chocolate bars. Those bars will take me one step closer to the chocolate induced coma I had planned for the holidays. lol
Of course the cats had to check the wrapping paper for concealed compartments and inter-dimensional portals.
None here.
This piece is clean too.
Hemi was asleep, as usual, so I took him his very own toy to play with.
He approves
He heard the paper inspection on going in the next room and finally went to investigate.
Kanga did not want to give up her spot.
They took the tussle into the kitchen allowing Grendel Blackleg to come check things out for himself.
Playing is dirty work. Bath time.

There is going to be another batch? Will people who got one from this batch still be able to get one from that batch as well? If so then it will likely be just as hard to get one from that batch too. Just sayin.
I’m disappointed I didn’t get one but life goes on.
Soare they all gone? I never saw them in stock at all and I’ve been watching for an hour.
