It’s definately the best book in the series in a long time. I didn’t even buy it at first, I picked it up at the library.

I really enjoyed her earlier Valdemar stuff. Last Herald mage is my favorite of that series. I also like her modern elves stuff, Diane Tregarde and the newest series with James Mallory. I can’t say I really cared for any of the later Valdemar trilogies. I’ve always that that the picture of Skandranon on the front of “The Black Gryphon” looks a little like the Windstones Black Griffin.

I had a hard time finding one and I was looking for peacock.

The OW are some of the worst to try and find. The OW and the hatching Kinglet are about the only types I haven’t seen show up on Ebay.

Finally found one here (Thanks RomeoDanny), so take heart. One will show up sooner or later.

She looks great. And you have the box.

I bet it will sell well. The one I got doesn’t look nearly as good (it’s missing a lot of the gold along one wing) and it went for $170. Didn’t have the original box either.

I hope that everything works out with your store. I think I will go browse.
