Nope. The seller is selling all her peacocks, but she doesn’t have the kinglet, mother and sitting Spectral.
(This time, for once, I actually read the auction.)Well that’s a relief. I know it’s selfish but I was a little sick thinking that I had missed my chance to get a hatching kinglet.
Greater Basilisk wrote:Hm, they still have all the old prices listed.
I know. It’s weird. And that is the price they charged me.
The only thing I can think of is that they bought a bunch all at once and have backstock, and so never raised the prices.
I thought they all seemed a little pricey myself and I’m a big fan of the Peacock. It’s still neat to see them on sale all at once.
I wonder if there was a hatching kinglet available that I missed.

I know this store still has the Sun Dragon because I bought one myself. I do not know how many they have.
I love the Ruby oriental dragons. Hope this helps someone out.
On edit: You have to scroll all the way down to the bottom.
I fell in love with the Black unicorns. It just wasn’t a color you saw unicorns in very often, and I just loved them. Especially the male. After that it was a natural segway into the dragons. They are just a high-quality piece of artwork, and such a wonder to those who love fantasy.
The spectral dragons are not my favorite, and I don’t think I would buy the hatching Llama. I love the Ki-Rins, I would like to see them reissued.
I honestly don’t like too many of the colors other then Peacock and Black-Gold. (Although I think that the Ruby color is lovely on the oriental dragons.)
I would like to see more human-type productions. Especially the sorceress idea.

I LOVE THAT BOOK!
I LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT WHENEVER I SEE A MOVIE PREVIEW OR A MOVIE POSTER MY HEART AND STOMACH BREAK OUT IN A VERY LARGE AND SPONTANEOUS CELEBRATION!!!!
I might die the day it comes out because of pure happiness! I feel light headed….
*Swoons and faints but lands on the ground with a smile on her face*Soooo…..I guess you like the books? π
Honestly I’m impressed at the caliber of actors they’ve obtained for this film. Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman and such. And it looks like Kidman will be playing a villan. Which I find extremely interesting.
Can’t wait to see it.

I think I just got too bogged down in last year college stuff and never got back to it. I can’t decide whether I want to reread the books now or wait until I watch the movies. I do know that the trailer gave me goose bumps. So many great actors. 8)
You do such wonderful work. 8)

New Line is producing it and if they show the same kind of attention to detail for this one as they did for “Lord of the Rings,” then this should be an excellent adaptation. The trailer is promising but they usually are.
Guess I’ll find out in December.
PM’d you.
Thank you, Thank you. The OW arrived today and he is in great condition. You packed him wonderfully. He now rests in a proper place. The proud patriarch of his peacock family. Love him!!

PM’d you.
Anyone here read the series by Kim Harrison? It starts with Dead Witch Walking. Very much in the vein of Laurell Hamilton with less angst. I think that many people who like LKH would like this series. I started reading it in between her and Jim Butcher.
Kyrin wrote:Yeah, yeah, yeah! Laurell K. Hamilton! My book is on its way as we speak! Can’t wait.
Meanwhile, I am reading her Merry Gentry series, which I hadn’t gotten to previously.
Also, The Dresden Series by Jim Butcher are really terrific, I ripped though 7 books in about 10 days…now I just need to get the last two.
Anyway, the books you mentioned look interesting, they kid books?
Kyrin
Absolutely agree with you on the The Dresden files. I especially love that they’re based in Chicago, my old hometown.
Did you know that the SciFi channel made a series based on the book? I didn’t get a chance to see it because I ws on cruise, but I heard good things.
