I’ve used nail polish before on windstones… but in moderation. What color is the nail polish? The gold? I like the look of his red scales though!

It’s the red. I didn’t have any metallic paint that wasn’t red enough! The gold is imitation leaf.

I only have 3 right now. I get 2-3 done in one sitting a day, but I have to catch up on Math before tonight D: And spent this morning making a REAL light tent-box finally! I just need to grab the black background material and finish fixing the kirin before it’s up in the gallery :3 I don’t know if I want to sell it yet…it’s just so gorgeous in person <3

Crappy photos due to artificial lighting, but I need help fixing the scales I ruined in trying to darken them before I take the final shots. It’s nail polish that has been varnished with black mixed with varnish on top and removing the mistake is not an option. What should I do???

This wolf is gonna be production, but yes I would like to do another pyo wolf in a different position to be a mate for the lying one. Then they need pups…

OMG PUPPIES?!?!?! *dies at the imagery of cuteness of itty bitty wings*

I’m actually painting a squeak on a kirin PYO 😀 I hope to finish it this weekend! Something similar to the Black fire.

You got my payment right? (I tried to send you a PM but I don’t think it worked).

Yes I did. I’ll have your icon done asap :3

Dragon87’s is the last on my list to get done so far. C’mon guys! Keep’em coming! If you really want one, but don’t know what to choose, just drop me a pm and I can help you.

Those are very cool, Nuke! I wouldn’t know what to ask for

Most choose a thing that they feel represents their soul, like an animal or a tree species or maybe a symbol like sport team logos, or in many cases they create their own persona like Koishii. It takes a little imagination 😉 I would have offered caricatures of windstones, but John didn’t allow it.

    But I do want one.

    (wanna surprise me?)

You can even just ask for any animal with any color and I’ll draw it :3

That’s a really cool idea Nuke 😀 ! I hope you get a ton of commisions. I don’t have any idea what I would get – I’m not to keen on an anthro-turtle myself :nea: , eventhough it would match my username. Hmmmm… Have to think about it.

I can do a tribal tattoo design of a turtle in purple. I opened this exclusive batch here because I wanted a nice reprieve from having to do a ton of anthro art.

It would be cool to see Nuke’s interpretation of a kitsune! I wonder how many tails it would have?

Lol! It’d be hard to fit so many in an itty bitty icon! Kitsunes traditionally have 9 tails from the Japanese legends, though some like to simplify it to three. I’ve drawn all nine tails before; it’s a challenge!

I thought I’d try and liven up the forum for members in opening an exclusive Windstone forum digital icon commission sale. There is no limit to how many members I will accept from, but that means there is no deadline to get each one done as well, as I do this on my free time. The cost is $10 and you get the 400 X 400 pixel original size as well. I accept payment only through paypal and only one icon per member. I’d love to draw any species you throw at me :3

    Here are some examples:

You pretty much hit the dime on my favorites. Maybe something of a mixed breed/fantasy colored salmon would be neat with splotchy blood red on top and shining, dark textured pewter/silver with a pearl belly, perhaps specks of metallic navy. I’ve had to de-scale summer catch before and the way their scales are iridescent of every color is so gorgeous. But trying to wash them off skin is a pain! lol

Well I’m not doing anything of major importance here in MA! I’ll gladly quit my job and come work for you and paint Windstones 24 hours a day with no sleep! Grueling hours! I don’t mind! I’m a workhorse I swear!

My family can write me! Their fingers work just fine!

    * I’m coming on a little strong aren’t I? * 😀

We can paint together, yay! That way you wont have to pay shipping for all the everglade of anything I paint, lol! kid kid

If you desperately need a painter/caster for the summer I’m up for hire, Melody  that is if I can get help finding a place to live. I’m willing to go anywhere for work that I like that’ll teach me something new.

There needs to be an epic picture book of the qualms of the casting reviving. squeek*

Wow, that is different. I really get this ‘made of stone’ feel from it that is very nice. Every zorse’s stripes are different, so I don’t think you did anything wrong. I am not a particular fan of the yellow, but it is very fitting for the composition (perhaps a nice toned brown zorse if you are painting a second?). Well done =3

Actually the fact she came out kinda yellowish bugs me. I was going for a buckskin bay coloring, but i didn’t quite mix my colors well enough. The pictures actally make her look a lot more yellow than she really is to – i’m not very adept a photo taking 🙄 .

Photoshop can fix that for you :3 I edit my photos like crazy to get them to look like they do in reality. I think the steps to changing a single color is image-adjustments-replace color-swab the yellow and play with the toggle percentages over how much of similar color and changing it etc.
