The forum said I had too many smilies in my post lol how can you have too many smilies?very beautiful, that artist is very talented. Congrats on the new lovely 😀
I need it!! I hope you love him. Although he has a few imperfections he is such a beautiful piece and needs an appreciative home 😀 Pm me your address and i’ll try and get him shipped out tuesday or wednesday!
Thanks everyone! You’ve been a big help. I found the pens online but the shipping is just as much as the coast of the item…maybe i’ll just drive down to the art store and save on shipping. I hope they have it.
JellyFish wrote:Hi I asked Susie this same thing. She said Decogold paint pen in standard gold. I bought mine from Michaels craft store for five dollars Canadian. I havent used it yet though. Hope that helps. 🙂
What size did you get? The only pen I can find is the extra fine 1 ct. (whatever that stands for?) and pegasi recommended a larger size. Do all the fine ones leak?
I know how the passing up of clothes goes 😆 although this year I got some new clothes but I didnt let it prevent me from getting more windstones 😳
Come to think of it…Amy Brown usually only does two legged dragons, I just didnt know they were called something different. I’m so curious to see Melody’s version, especially what one in a sculpture would look like. Would they have to walk around like a bat does?
Thanks! I’ll do a seach for that tonight. 🙂
Can someone recommend to me what paint is best for touching up gold highlights? I have many pieces that are in need of it. Maybe even a link to a store or ebay? The closest are store to me is 30-40 minutes away..pain in the booty to drive down there . Thank so much 😀
Ohh how interesting. Could you draw us a quick pic if you have time what your idea of one would look like?
I really like some of them, but only if they have brown eyes. I dont even like the blue eyes on the horse I know in real life….I dont know why. I like blue eyes on people and dogs, its my favorite color. But on my favorite animal blue eyes dont work…its weird. But the paint jobs are very lovely I think and if I had extra funds I would want at least one of those beauties.
September 2, 2009 at 7:54 pm in reply to: Windstones' new eBay auctions thread Aug 27 page 64 #756906Does anyone else notice their idea of a lot of money changes over time with how much they have been collecting? I used to think the production pieces went for a lot and the ebay pieces were insane and now the production pieces are still expensive but the ebay pieces are more acceptable i guess. hmm i think im not explaining this well 😀 I guess to put it simply I never though I would bid on any ebay pieces because they were expensive but I won my first ebay piece back in june( one of the autumn leaf old warriors, the cheapest one that has sold so far) and I didnt feel like he was too expensive, where as when i first started collecting I would have never dreamed about spending that much.(And I havnt been making more money to compensate for my spending either 😆 ) Has anyone else noticed this about themselves? I cant wait to see the bengal griffen mother!!
I saw a mother on ebay today for a BIN of 230.00
Ohhh wow 😀 I never win anything when it comes to hat draws! How exciting! Pming you right now.
