I’ve only seen solar lights as garden lanterns and such, not in the form of Christmas lights. LED (light emitting diode) are very energy efficient. They only use about 10 % the energy that regular lights use. They do cost a little more, but they should last much longer.
I would totally go for the LED lights if I could, but I can’t stand the sight of them. The colors on the LEDs bug my eyes something horrible, particularly the blues. I can’t stand looking at a black light either (I can be in a room with one though), and the blue tones on the LEDs remind me very much of that, but then again, I’m weird anyways *lol*. Until they fix the color (I think they just need to figure out how to change the bulb outer part), I’m going to be a hold out on the regular Christmas lights.
i cant tolerate the blue LED, they hurt my eyes. I cant even read a sign with Blue LED , for some reason i cant make out the letters its all a big blur to me

ddvm wrote:So we finished Skyline Drive and I saw a BOBCAT! I was so excited – thank God there was no one behind us because I yelled to Sue to stop! It was a pretty good look before he ran off. We saw a ton more deer, too. And we went to Luray Caverns which were amazing! If anyone ever goes there definitely do the taverns.
Yesterday was a lot of driving – we got to Memphis. We went to the zoo last night to see the lights and went for a horse drawn carriage ride. The horse was Jim, a gorgeous 18 hand Percheron. We had a blast even though we were freezing.
We stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel last night and we are going to Graceland shortly – can’t go to Memphis without going to Graceland! Then the next 3 days are just driving to get to the Grand Canyon.
But I’m having a great time and I’m feeling alot better a week and a half out from chemo plus the doctor adjusting my meds! I can actually eat! I’ll let you know how Graceland is.
ive been near Luray Caverns many times but never stopped . Have a good time say hi to the king for me 🙂
i still like the old fashioned glass bulbs , even if they cost a bit more to burn
after DeCaprio hamming it up on the screen with his “frozen drowning” the ice cubes give Titanic some dignity back 😛
Have a nice time 😀

There has been a lot of small claims and garnishments going around lately, nearly everyone I know has been getting hit with this stuff. When you don’t have medical insurance it is easy to get in this boat, not so easy to get out.
Kyrin
even with medical insurance i got in that boat too for 4,000. i hate those collection companies they buy the debt for less than half , then sew you for all of it, what a sham
