‘Ack’ is an excellent description! Yikes.
For what it’s worth, my stonefinish griffin and unicorn camped out for ten days at a UPS place just twenty miles from my house before finally arriving. So, it happens.
Congrats on the deal though! 😀
😮 Wow. That must really suck.
Everyone okay? Any chance you got a license #, description or a paint sample from their car?
Awesome! Many congratulations! 😀
It is, thank you. That is glorious. Oooh, the variety of techniques and ideas that could be used with that!
Winged bookends? Where/what are those? They sound nice.
I loved the color combination on that lap. I wonder at the fierce competition for that girl, given the rough texture and the descriptions (if I read it right) mention of an additional limited or production run of that color. Though I guess goof ups are rare enough to ensure that’s it’s truly a one-of-a-kind series, even if subtly so.
IMO some deeper copper/bronze added here and there would compliment it well. But the delicate earthy tones are also nice, just as-is.

*snerk* Funny. 😆
Red or yellow eyed unicorns would be awesome. squeek*
I’d adore a pyo Pegasus myself, but ditto on all the other squeeks, especially the Hippogriff. Can’t have enough PYOs. 😀
Eeek, hope there’s a way around the links!
And oh, my flying goldfish, that griffin is lovely! Looks tropical to me.January 17, 2009 at 5:56 am in reply to: Stolen Lap Dragon — RECOVERED!! (now with pix – pg 4) #748841That’s flipping horrible.
After confirming that it’s not just a innocent/stupid UPS glitch (for once that would be very, very nice), maybe a few ‘lost/reward’ posters in your general area could be worth a shot. Since Windstones are a (slightly) more acquired taste than cold hard cash. Also checking flea markets. (Of course you already thought of these, I’m sure.)
Though it is a long shot, I’ll keep an eye out, here in California. 😥
Time to jumpstart this thread, heh, heh… I acquired these two gargoyles on Ebay. Even with the economy stinking and them being dinged up, they went for a ridiculously low price, $50 including shipping for the pair. 😮
The auction wasn’t hidden, and the seller was capable. I really hope his future auctions go better for him.
But minor guilt aside, oooh, I am glad to have them! 😆
Withdrawl was tragic. Now I can lurk once more! 8)
Poor sweetie. What’s the story behind that fellow?
