I’d just like to know what the heck an interference paint IS! Anyone want to explain? I’d also like to know what it does, and where to get it.

I don’t know, I think the fairy tale stuff is a riot! If you are refering to the Fairy Godmother series.
If you are refering to the Elemental Masters, which are rewrites of old fairy tales…I love those, especially the Fire Rose, beauty and the beast.
If you want one of hers that is especially good, get your paws on To Light a Candle and the 2 books following it. All three are very very good and hard to put down. This series was cowritten by James Mallory.
I just finished that, and the Dragon Jousters, and the last of the Hundred Kingdoms book, Fortune’s Fool..which while short, was pretty good.
Everything she’s ever done I’ve read. Favorite Valdemar and related series are Last Herald Mage, and the Gryphons, and Arrows.
If you guys haven’t read By the Sword…I highly recommend it, you really can’t help but like Kerowyn.
I could go on for days, so I will stop here. Or not…depending on what I read next in this thread. LOL!

Yep, he definatley needs help.
I look forward to seeing what Whippet can do with him. I would ask Melody if it is possible to get a new horn for him.
I would bid against you, but I am already doing that on the green momma dragon…sorry, but I really want her, I have a male repaint project coming from Watergazer and I was thinking the female would be great to do as well, since I plan them as a gift for a dear friend who has done a lot for me over the years.
I hope I can get the dragon, but I will leave the uni alone.

yeah, I lust after the Secret Keeper, but I doubt I can afford one until they come out for the general public…I just can’t afford what they are going for on eBay. I mean, $2K?, that’s more than my house payment! Not that these preproduction SK’s aren’t worth that, it is just a sky high price.
If I spent that much on a dragon, my husband would kill me. However, I am hoping that when the SK finally makes it to mass production the final cost will be no more than $750…that, I can save up for. I just hope that the Autumn leaf color will be one of the color options available.

I like them, too bad I’m already spending my play money on a young brown…I’ve changed my mind, now I hope that you get me on the PYO exchange…actually there is about 6 of you guys that I would be delighted to see have mine. But don’t tell. LOL!
But I’d be so happy if you had mine, cause I love that griffon redo you did, with the purple flash…I nearly cried because I couldn’t afford her and someone else got her before I even saw her. *sigh* Man you did an awesome job on that.

KyrinI don’t know… I don’t know if I will put them on Ebay, would anyone else, besides forum folks, understand them?
What is to understand? They’re adorable cute little sculptures YOU made. I think you underestimate their appeal. Put a few test pieces in a select number of shops and see what happens, you might be surprised.
Put up the brightly colored ones on eBay and I suspect they will go fast, the butternut ones are cute, but it is the colored ones that made me go, “Ooohh, I want one!”
The forum members are just the ones who are gonna know the backstory and be after them the fastest, but they will catch on. Especially if you include the cards and offer the story behind them.
Folks love stories…and the fact that you have built a whole little world for these guys can be a selling point, especially if the offered factory colors involve characters in your story.
Anyway, these are just my ideas on it, but I really think there is a market for these guys, it is just a matter of determining how to market them to the public.
I’m real tempted to find out if my friend Kerry would be willing to take on yet another project, she is a great marketer…but she is so busy and is already the marketing guru for 3 other businesses. But she’s very good. Do you guys still need a marketing manager person?

Happy Belated Birthday Melody.
I have to admit that I like the Poads you’ve done in colors, the Butternut ones are cute, but give me the flashy ones…purple..I’ liked the purple. When do you plan to put the flashy colored ones up on eBay?

I am so jazzed…this little wolf got me my first Windstone commission….is that cool or what?
And from an awesome artist I really admire too.
Should have asked her for art, but honestly right now…I can’t afford to front the money for the sculpture, so I asked her to send some funds.
Though since I like her so much, I am not charging her to paint the wolf. I am just honored she asked me to do it.
