I didn’t mean to imply buying the OW himself was a mistake – just forgetting to avoid customs was stupid. The OWs are so worth their money!
lol no i ment about marking the parcel as a gift 😀
lol he was only joking, and he doesn’t collect windstone so i will personally go tell him off because he has no idea what the painting is like 😀 He is American as well so you can go and tell him off in person lol.
Oh yeh hee hee we know its a paint your own, he just means young dragon as if it is a young small windstone dragon, rather than the actual ‘young dragon’
I got a tiny pocket Dragon and i had to pay £11 customs on him! 🙁 And when i brought my Windstone piece i didn’t pay anything 😀
I’ll give it a go 😀
Thanks for the advice Basilisk, much appreciated 😀
We have a really fab professional painter in the Uk and this is her first windstone piece, she has never seen them befroe so the colours got left up to her to do what she wanted 😀 im going to get her to repint me a Griffin. The Dragon here is owned by another collector who is also getting her to do a griffin. What do you guys think?

You are very lucky and talented Nambroth 😀
lol thanks everyone Ski i didn’t read the auction because ide want one and i just get really confused as Dragoness said ‘They aren’t rare moulds’ and then i read you saying ‘They ARE rare molds’ 🙄 Anyway ive got it now thats for the definition Dragoness i see the difference between the two now 😀
Ah right thats what i ment were they different from the production ones. In that case ide buy one if i had the money, im just not keen on spending £300 on something thats just a different colour.
Ah right i see, so they can make any amount of limited editions they want in different colours. Thats quite good for Windstone 😀 Hmm the limited eds i buy are rare one off moulds or made in a different shape to the production design, if i wanted a different colour ide just but a production piece and get it professionally repainted. I can’t afford everything, ide love a limited windstone but i think it would have to be different design or something not just the paint 😀
March 3, 2007 at 9:25 pm in reply to: Is anyone else head over heels for the Beagle griffin ? #547221I love them both! All the wolfs i have seen be it not many are gray so i don’t consider it a wolfie colour 😀
Are these limited edition pieces rare moulds? Or are they just painted differently? If they are whats stopping someone getting a windstone piece and just repainting it the same and calling it a limited edition?
I hope there is something because thats awfull.Congrats on number 18 😀 So lucky 8)
