I’m so sorry to hear about Poopie. πŸ™

And maybe some cat grass would work for Jet, but Jet might just be like my future sister-in-law’s cat, that blasted cat would eat anything. Including that foam flooring stuff (they’re shaped like puzzle pieces, and they’re supposed to make concrete floors more comfy to walk on).

I’m just ignoring it. It was funny seeing some of my friends freak out though. πŸ˜†

Gee I’m almost posting daily this week! Maybe next week will be better but it’s just been so sucky…. πŸ™

My boss had mice in her office. They were really being a nuisance, getting in her papers and such. This morning, they were caught in a trap. The trap was then placed outside, in the -25 degree weather, with the mice still alive inside. When I left work at 1:30, the trap was still there.

I feel awful, mostly because I didn’t do more to stop it. I seriously feel sick right now. But what could I have done? I have no access to any way to kill them more humanely (and there’s a lot better ways then freezing to death), and I couldn’t just relocate them. They’d just get into someone else’s house, where they’d just be killed (and taking them was not an option, I have two cats, amongst other problems of adopting wild mice).

Mostly just a pity party. They were really cute and I can’t get their little faces out of my head. πŸ™ *sigh* I feel horrible, but also like I shouldn’t feel horrible, their being pests and all. But it’s not their fault they just wanted to get warm….

I didn’t even see this before today, so I dunno. I did send though (although, if no one else signs up then it’s kinda useless isn’t it? πŸ˜† ). Since I’m getting help with my car, it’s the first time in a long time I’ve had some money. πŸ™‚

Maybe a “We Want” raffle some month? All entrants write down what kind of piece they want [perhaps from a list of available options] and what colors they want, and then Melody draws one entry and paints the piece. Could be interesting (if tough on Melody). πŸ™‚

I’ve done something like that once. I didn’t have a prize ready, so I just held a raffle and then picked a prize I thought the the winner would like. That was fun. Want to do that again?

    That sounds fun. πŸ™‚

My car got in an accident. πŸ™ Were trying to drive to Calgary for my grandma’s 80th, and while going on an offramp from the 216 to the 2, we lost control and hit the guardrail. The car runs, none of the important motor stuff is hurt, and me and Colin are just fine, but the passenger headlamp, the bumper on the passenger side, and the hood are all damaged. Total cost to get it to be able to legally drive again? $1700. Bleh. Not as bad as I thought, but still $1700 more then I have. πŸ™„

Okay, I’m never driving again. Colin’s hose for his transmission fluid broke on his way back to Cold Lake. OUR CARS HATE US!!!! :shout:

(of course, due to work stuff, I can’t actually *not* drive again)

And this girl actually *gets* the tattoos I draw for her. Another one I did, the guy never got the tattoo, I was kinda insulted.

I read in the paper that it’s happened in two more places too, since this (that aren’t geographically close). I wonder what’s causing this?

24 hours newspaper, where I saw the article today.

It’s the one in the blue box above 70 Plus and beside the turtle. If you double click it should enlarge. In theory, it worked for me.

If the link brings you to page one, it’s one page two.
