I woke up this morning and I was looking at my new em-pea male (thanks wolflodge!) And thought… you know, a desert-coloured male dragon would look awesome o.o Like light tans for the chest to a darker brown or something around the back and wings. It could be called “Desert” or “Desert Shadow”. Just an idea 0:D Or an excuse for there to be even more male/female pairs for me to buy. *squee*
Greetings Phil! Yay! another “the dragon”! (or “Dragom” rather, but we knew your intent!) XD I didn’t realise you could use spaces in your name. I’m too used to writing out Dan the Dragon as DantheDragon, so it didn’t even occur to me to try.
Ohhh I love it!! I’m a sucker for blue on black too. I’ve had black gryphon with blue markings in the works forever, lol. I swear I’ll actually finish him one of these days. I love all the subtle colours :O

I guess I can forgive, but next one is mine! ;D Ohh.. does it have dark purple? Every male I’ve seen has like, a violet nose, while the females are all dark purple :X
Gah, I tried to take pics using every light source in my house of my mother empea, but nothing captures how brilliant her colours are 🙁

Same here. Hence why I bid on it 😀
The purple seems to vary a lot on the empeas. For example I got the female because her purple was darker and more blended than the male next to her at the store whose purple was more violety. Hence why I only got her. I’m going to wait until I spot a male with the same darker purple to get her her mate.

Ohh thanks for posting pics. I actually got the em-pea female this past weekend and I must say she is my most eye-catching piece colour-wise. I can’t stop looking at her. She is so beautiful. I feel bad for my old peacocks when they are next to her :X
