Well I passed up a white emperor for $175. My wife even told me she would get it for me as a gift. It had a small chip on the tail, and the store was going out of business.
I would have loved to get one of the Silver OW’s. My wife and I both loved silver, but after buying the BG OW proto, I stopped ebaying for a while, and missed it. I didn’t even know they existed till about a week ago I joined the forum. Now I will die an incomplete man 😥

Really? Cool! Thought I spent too much. How much do they run now? I’ve been wanting a white mom dragon for a while now so just had to move on it 😈
I’m actually thinking of bidding on a brown mom. About how much do they go for? Cant find them on completed listings on ebay…
Just got a white mother dragon from ebay for $140, after shipping etc. Don’t know if it’s a good deal but it is in mint condition with original box. It is also my first mother dragon and also my first white one. Just hope it arrives safely:)

REALLY!? So if I can get a store to carry Windstone, I can get a reward to?? If that’s true I’m going to every gift shop in my area 😀
WOW DM! Thanks for the pics! Nice display with mirrors and lights. That alone probably set you back some. I’m actually picking up a curio for my dragons today. You know you probably can open up a museum with those pieces…charge admission to fund more Windstones…heck I’d pay to see them in person 😀
So, like what’s your favorite piece, and why are you trying to acquire all the gold leaf hatching emperesses?
Another thing that bothers me about the SK is she almost looks like another species. She looks more ‘human’& wiser (rightly so) than the other dragons. Almost like a ‘dragon god’ of sorts, like there should only be ONE of her around. I’m not saying there SHOULD be only one of her, but it seems like she’s too powerful to have peers. Kinda like the female version of that male dragon in Reign of Fire. I get this not so much from her size but the way she carries herself.
I got a BG OW Prototype and he has more of a matte finish on the black. Does anyone know if Melody painted all the BG OW’s with matte finish or some matte and some glossy? I have #21/24.
Thanks guys! This is the first purchase I made since joining the forum 3 days ago. Had to get the first purchase out of my system. I’m actually going to go and buy a curio tonight to house my collection. I’ll be broke after that, but my babies need a proper home 🙂
Just won the Gold Scratching Dragon #8/10 from Ebay. Sorry if I snatched it from anyone on here. Can’t wait to get him and check him out in the sun 😀
Let me start by saying that I LOVE the SK’s. However, I feel kinda cheated that they are the largest dragons around, and not the Emperors.
I kinda feel bad for the Emperors. The title ’emperor dragon’, to me, suggests that they should be the biggest and the baddest around, and they have been just that for so long.
I guess I don’t really know where the SK’s rank in the Windstone universe. Is there a story behind the SK’s?
I absoultely LOVE Windstone dragons. I love their quality, and strangely enough how heavy they are. All other fantasy dragon sculpts I’ve seen are crap. They look cheap and mass produced, even if they are not. My wife collects Pocket Dragons. Her family actually hung out with Real while he used be at Tex Ren Fest way back then. Even though they are cute, there is no comparing their quality to Windstones.
That being said, the only other dragon sculpture I considered buying other than Windstone was one made for the movie Dragonheart. I didn’t buy the one I saw at the local comic store because a couple of spikes on the spine were broken off. Apparently it is hard to find one in perfect shape. Kinda regret it now. Anyone on here seen that one or have him? If so post a pic. Miss him 😥
