Yeah, it’s soft almost pastel and looks great with the green eye!

It makes me happy that I found the empress at my local dealer for $70!I would be concerned for those who bid, that they would expect such a wonderful paint job like the ones they see in the photos. 🙁 I think she should do some of her own PYOs then take photos to give examples of her work.

I agree! I even loved the appaloosa test paint I saw on the rearing male pegasus posted on the LJ. He was between two griffin paint tests.

I think I’ll stick my neck out and try this. I recently put a Oriental Sun on layaway.
Now, I’m not too fond of ruby, even though he’s stunning! I’d much rather have either Jade or maybe Peacock.

My fiance is playing Shadow of the Colossus – I played it through sometime last year – and I’m remembering how freaking AWESOME this game is!!! If anyone out there who has a playstation 2 hasn’t played it, you’re definitely missing out. Rent it, borrow it or somethine, because this game is just beautiful. And tons of fun. ^_^
(if you’ve never heard of it – the gameplay consists of riding through a fairly vast landscape on your horse Argo searching for the colossi. Each time you find one, you have to kill it by stabbing or shooting it’s “vitals” or weak spots. To get to those spots, you usually have to climb ONTO the colossus and hang on for dear life! It’s very beautiful and very exciting and the story is quite nice, too – you’re killing the colossi for a noble if selfish cause.)
I loved Shadow of the Colossus! I think I spent more time galloping around on Agro than anything. 😀 And trying to reach the secret eden.
