We have something called ‘Arts in the Heart’ in Augusta, Ga that lasts for about 3 days and it is NOT enjoyable to browse booths when the temps kick up. Blech! Sympathies that you had to be in that with so little reward for it.
🙂 But it is nice to hear from kids. They aren’t jaded and always give such great reactions. And other than the one jerk it sounds like you got a pretty positive reception from the people who did show up. So at least there’s that. I hope you’re not discouraged. I’m sure it’ll be better next time. At least you got some more exposure too.
Na its just frustrating to know I put that much energy towards something to have it go so bad. With chronic fatigue you kinda have to pick what you want to invest energy in. 😛
In other things..I am having a few quite sick days since i am feeling pretty ill, so i am doodling in bed. My first doodle was in clay:

We don’t have AC either. Fortunately, we do have a finished basement. That’s where we’ll be living for the next however-long. Of course, I have to get out almost every day. The heat makes it hard to sleep and I’m already tired from depression and a possible sleep problem. I have an appointment for a sleep study this week to see if there’s anything medical there. My brother needed a (dang, can’t remember the name, one of those breathing machines). I hope I don’t need one:( Well, here’s hoping there’s not many fires during this hot, dry spell for all of you suffering through this with us.
Ya im pretty much allergic to it with lupus. If i put on long pants and then pull up the legs in the sunshine the rash will appear right before your eyes, its almost spooky

I, for one, think your work is very nice and really good for being self taught or otherwise! That takes dedication. What’s that loser ever done!? Nothin’, that’s what I bet! Obviously his skull was too thick for his poor mom’s efforts in teaching him ANY manners at all! That girlfriend of his needs to wise up and dump his sorry butt.

aww, thanks prezurian, we apprreciate it. I couldn’t beleve she let him drag her out of there, so was really leaning towards getting on of my originals and was debating towards getting a print too. Would of been my best sale all day. I din’t, but i really wanted to punch the guy.
The kids were all cute as heck though. The cougar was my most popular prints, and accept for the one jerk, all of my was stuff loved by the approx 40 ish poeple and kids that stopped by

I’m on a vacation to the Idaho area with my mom to celebrate turning 40 last week, and this heat wave is making it a lot less fun than I hoped. We went into Glacier for a day on Saturday but only enjoyed the morning (construction in the park didn’t help) and yesterday we drove from that area to Spokane Valley, and it was brutal. We got out for a little bit at Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene…can’t imagine being out all day! :O
Hoping to somehow enjoy something in Spokane today even though it only got DOWN to the 80s. So much for a trip to the mountains to escape the heat, ha ha! 😥
WHY DIDNT YOU VISIT??? I live in Sandpoint :'( Ya, they sas spokane had the worst of it topping 106, sand point hit like `103 and the mountain peaked at 102 but hovered around 99-100 for the day. it was brutal being out there all day, i imagine even wihtou t being allergic to sun from lupus..

Email me for current prices! awier(@)weaselsoneasels.comI got up early at 5 am this morning, was in the direct sun from 7 am to 6 pm today, with it being over 102* F from noon on, despite lupus, and migrain, and only sold two prints and post card the entire day. Story made short, I feel really ill from being in the heat and sun, am in the hole over $300 and have a myriad of prints (about 160 to be exact) that need sold as well as like 15 originals.

I have a ton more photos to add across two more albums and I feel like crap….whimper…not to mention, a jerk had to the audacity to stand in my tent, right in front of me, and tell his girlfriend who was about to buy a print, that my work was horrible and that i ” should as my art teacher for a refund” . Grrr… That just p’d me off. I just said im self taught and he glared at me and shuffled out of the tent dragging his girl behind him.
Anyone wanna buy some discounted prints? You can buy them individually, or in pairs for an even bigger discount, and also some folders will have grab bags, where you can get another good discount. Shipping will be a flat $5 to US residents and $10 to canada..blah bla blah… I feel like I wasted 40 hours and all of my energy this past week for nothing… I’ll have more to list.. I guess I’ll update tomorrow when more are listed. You dont have to have facebook to view or order these, just pm me here and We’ll get it done. The images have the info on whats available, how many and what sizes. Folders are sorted by size and price.
Basically once, you put your whole order together, I’ll list your custom listing in our shop and then you can pay for it. We can take paypal, credit or debit, or you can send us a money order, but i wont ship until payment clears. Your choice, seriously thanks for any help you can offer. This is going towards my debt and our printer upgrade. Oh and Mary and I have a special gift pack for any orders over $75, its not amazing, but its as much as we can do! We also have a ton of original work for those interested and are trying to add the rest this week:

Comparison between my mother and hatcher.I have an old white hatcher and new white baby dragon. Even getting one of the “smoky” baby’s, its still brighter than our hatcher, so we have deffiently noticed it too.

Waiting for an airbrushing day and mary’s help to finish the sea horse/hippocamp sculpt.
Got a booth at a local event, my first, and am working my but off on prints while everything that can go wrong does… Also making a couple t-shirts for mary and I at the festival, mine will have the above wolf on the back, and my logo, marvin, in the corner on the front.uhhhh…t-shirt image w/ edits:
When my printer wants to cooporate, there will be prints of the wolf available. The files are ready for tests now.

Also, I need to try and get a kickstarter or go fund me soon for the upgraded printer soon. And lately ours has been acting really weird and likes to quit printing half way through or it will give everything a random color layer over (usually pink, grey or yellow) and pink prints jsut dont do wel. o_O getting there….
