UPDATE ON SCAMMER:[u][/u] My scammer is getting very anxious that I did not ship the PC yesterday, and as I said earlier, I had sent an inquiry asking how he wanted it shipped, and that I had to wait until my room-mate, Frawda, came home to check her email for the “payment”. So this morning, I had an email from him that was as follows:
“hello michele…i mail paypal…this morn they told me that their have get to you but waiting for your reply so do make this fast or are try to play on me…
regard smith”
I replied back, saying I didn’t understand what he meant, that I had sent him a note explaining I had to wait for my room-mate to get home and I needed to know how he wanted it shipped, so he sent another impatient note saying it’s been over a day now, that I should have an email from Paypal by now, and again emailed me the address in Nigeria to ship to. I sent back a reply that I know that he paid, but he still has not told me how he wants it shipped.
I am trying to get ahold of customs, because I am curious if there is a tax on declared value of shipments coming in to the country, and if so, I have mocked up a “Fujitsu Ultra Mobile Tablet PC” that I am really tempted to send to that address, as the prank shown on the link Snap provided. I do not have a way to post pictures here, but if somebody does, please pm me with their email, I could send the pictures to your email, and if you could post pictures of my “PC” on this thread, that would be great! squeek*I love the notebook scam Snap, makes me wonder if there is a large customs fee in Nigeria!
Of course I would still have to pay a lot for shipping and buying plastic keys and such. 👿you know, I was noticing something else…she used the free priority mail box, yet shipped it Parcel Post. I have had sellers do that in the past and I have been charged Postage Due! 👿

I had Pam look up the Bronze for me before, and I thought I pm’d you, but maybe you didn’t get it. The other one was on my Paypal records. The OW was so cheap because the auction had to be pulled early because of the hacker activity, and I was sold it at the high bid before the hacker sucked out my highest bid. 👿
Pegasi, I have the Burgundy/Gold Old Warrior and Bronze Sun #4. The Old Warrior was 900 before shipping, and the Bronze was 760 before shipping. 😀
I’m confused–I didn’t see if you also ordered a Male dragon, but I thought that you paid double for the mother and baby to come in 2 separate boxes, and the seller did not comply with your wishes, even though they took a payment to do so. Seems you definitely have a paypal claim that you can file for that right off the bat. It also seems by looking at it, that the box is waay too flat to package that dragon in, that there could not have been enough space to put enough cushioning on the top to protect the wing, even if the seller had wished to do so. That means that just a heavy box being placed on top of that one would have probably been all it would have taken to break that wing. 🙄

so I sent another email to my scammer, saying I was not able to mail his package yet today, because I had to wait for my “room-mate”, Frawda Lurt, to come home and check her email for the “Paypal” payment. Then I asked him how he wanted it sent, and why is his son’s last name different than his last name. Let’s see if he answers me. he will probably send me back a response, telling me he needs me to mail it ASAP. I also thanked him profusely for helping me out in my time of need, lol! XD XD XD
Apparently, according to Paypal, this Nigerian scam was on Ebay about a year ago, but they got that pretty much shut down, but some sellers did fall victim to the deal that they would go ahead and ship first, and get their “escrowed” payment afterwards. But they also for the most part got their money back, because Ebay protects its sellers, but these Craigslist scams are not protected, especially since they don’t really go into your Paypal account. Had this guy logged into Paypal and checked the email I provided him first, he would have seen the Frawda Lurt does not have an account to send money into, but that’s not what they do, they just send fake emails to say you have received funds, so hurry up and ship their package. According to Paypal, with all the volatile activities in that country, it seems it is a way of laundering money, and most of these items probably come back to the United States and get resold again. These are NOT nice people. 👿
